*Prayers*

Hey everyone. Most of you know that me and my husband have been trying to have a child for some time now. I went to the doctors office this morning and they officially 'diagnosed' me as infertile. I'm going to see a specialist tomorrow morning. This has hit me really hard as I didn't think it would actually come to this. Any prayers, thoughts, vibes, etc., would be appreciated. Thank you.

Keeping you in my prayers Becky. I know this is a tough diagnosis. Give yourself a some time, explore your options. I'm confident that you will be a mom, and a great one, one way or another. If I can help in anyway feel free to PM me; you know I've been there.

I'm sorry, Becky...I was hoping for other results for you. I know how hard this is, and pray for your acceptance, so that you can look toward other ways of parenthood! Speaking from experience, adopted kids are pretty neat! Hang in there, you have my prayers.

I am so sorry that you are faced with such things. My girlfriend has a similar problem. My heart goes out to you.

Me, personally, I take what doctors say with a grain of salt. I would get many different opinions and speak to different fertility specialists.

I found this testimony on a Christian website a couple of years ago when I first became a Christian and needed to explore and increase my faith.

It has stuck with me ever since I first read it and immeadiatly thought of sharing it with you when I read this thread.

Thank you. I know I will be a mother (whether biologically or adopted); I will be a mother!

My most heartfelt of prayers will be going out. (Out of respect to you and your faith, should I address them to your god, or would it be okay if I prayed to 'my versions'?)

Whatever you feel the most comfortable for you. It's the thought that counts to me.

Becky, you and your husband will surely be in my thoughts and prayers. I know this must be very difficult for you. Keep your chin up and know that you're cared about and no door is ever closed in life without another opening for you.

As Feather said...I believe wholeheartedly that you WILL made a wonderful Mom.
