I am nervous about what the future holds, but otherwise ok. It saddens me to watch my fellow humans being turned against each other by a system that rewards greed, and avarice, and stupidity while driving us to think and behave like dumb animals.

And there's nothing I can do about it except to try not to buy into it, myself. And hope I don't get eaten alive by it in my old age.

How are you doing? :)

How's the weather? Waking up to rain and wind doesn't put me in good mood.

There was a big, heavy snow. It started the night before, though, so I knew what was coming.

I don't mind rain; thunderstorms give me an adrenaline boost. But I hate wind, especially on a sunny day. Blech!

What gets me most is the lack of sunlight. Even if it isn't raining but really dark and gray my motivation goes to zero.

My husband and middle kid just kind of zonk out when it rains. Husband, physically; he just falls asleep everywhere(which is weird, because he's normally as hyper as a small child). My son just mentally falls asleep.... any kind of focus is agonizing for him.

Been dealing with a sore knee for two months, now. Today, though, it seems to be feeling quite good. Even after a bit of yard work.

That sounds a lot like a gambler heading to the casino. :)
No, because I went to the Catholic chat room. As long as I go to religious chat rooms and not the social chat rooms where men try to chat with me in a private window alone, I do ok. They chitchatted about the Pope last night which was interesting.

I think life is difficult for everyone, but I have no complaints.
