Justice and Truth overwhelm decades of silence

I had found out this story few months ago, thanks to a very good writer who loves to deepen US cold cases. And I remember this story utterly broke my heart. I did pray to God, my wish was to give this child an identity, at least.

Murder of Joseph Augustus Zarelli - Wikipedia

Blessed those who thirst for justice, for they will be filled.

This is the proof that in law and in politics, lies and deception are ephemeral. They will be exposed either in this life or in the other.

There is no other life; that is why justice in THIS life is so important.

Saying 'He's in a better place' devalues his life. If people really are better off dead, why does God allow anyone to be born into this world? Why do we punish murder if the killer is just helping these people into the better world?

Simple and obvious questions that religious folks never ponder or they hand wave them away with convoluted theologies.

In this worldly dimension, justice is hardly obtainable. Because there are too many powerful people who use their own power to create injustice. With their misdeeds: because they have the power and money to cover up the truth.

This doesn't diminish, of course, our thirst for justice, Nor discourages us.

God did nothing. The 4 year old boy was killed after being savagely beaten and mistreated.
There is free will.
