Sabbath Issues

What does it mean to you to Keep the Sabbath from Polluting it? You have made the Claim that you have kept Perfect/Pure Sabbath.

Readers have noticed you haven't answered these Critical Questions in Relation to Isaiah 58:13:
Does this mean that after Sabbath Day is over you do your own pleasures, your own ways and speak your own words?

Is it correct that you Subscribe to "Triumph Prophetic Ministries", Keeping the Sabbath and the Feast Days?
Yes, I did answer to the best of my knowledge, yes in word and deed honestly within six days, and yes by keeping and searching out His word for ourselves.

The Ministry stopped in August 2017.

The Sabbath is Holy, I often think that what we are called to do is to keep oneself holy on the Sabbath.

Holy means set apart for God. I would hope that we would find ways to be holy all seven days of the week.

But keeping the sabbath very quite specifically is to rest from work on the seventh day. It means making the DAY holy.

Mark 2:27-28

27 And he said to them, `The sabbath for man was made, not man for the sabbath,

28 so that the son of man is lord also of the sabbath.'

Holy Sabbath to Everyone!

Members are discussing Keeping Sabbath Holy and that is the same as Keeping Pure/Perfect Sabbath.

Christians can be Deluded into Believing that they are Keeping Sabbath Holy given that they are Ignorant about Elohim's/God's Highly Exalted Incomparable Standards of what Holy Sabbath Is.

What does Yeshua/Jesus means when he instructs, "Sabbath for Man was Made, Not Man for the Sabbath"? Is this teaching in the Old or New Covenant?

Hello Elihoenai, It is mentioned in both Old Exodus 20:8, and New Covenant Mark 2:27

The Sabbath was made for man is a statement of the spirit of religious practice that Jesus wants his followers to practice. The Sabbath was not meant for us to be burdened by obeying.

The Sabbath was made for man. The Sabbath rest; that is, a rest of one day in seven was made for man, not for Jews only. This implies that it is to be a universal institution; that the good of man requires it, and that it is not an arbitrary enactment, but a wise and benevolent provision for the welfare of the race.

Yeah, but God gave rules for Sabbath: don't cook, don't kindle a fire. Nehemiah had the gates of Jerusalem closed on the Sabbath because people were conducting commerce on it.

Briefly, the sabbath was given to the Jews. If you've ever been in an observant Jewish home on the Shabbat, you will have seen that it is a JOY. However, the commandment is to be obeyed regardless of how we personally experience it.

Remembering my years of working in a Jewish health care facility, I can attest to that. No matter their personal problems, and for some, especially those who survived the Holocaust, it was certainly a time of great joy. Visitors would leave almost in unison to go home and 'make Sabbath'.

Matthew 19:16-19

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Hi @Walter and Debbie,

Yes, Elohim/God has given Man the Sabbath for Man's Own Welfare and Elohim/God knows what is best for Man having created him.

True Followers Practice the 10 Commandments in Devoted Service to Elohim/God through Yeshua/Jesus.

Different Practitioners of the Sabbath uphold different Standards of what Constitutes a Holy Sabbath Rest. Do you agree that if you have an Impure Thought on the Sabbath that you have Violated/Polluted the Holy Sabbath Rest? Do you agree that if you break any of the other 9 Commandments on on the Sabbath Day that you have Violated/Polluted the Holy Sabbath Rest?

Sabbath is the heart and its intentions. Think about it, many people go to church but do not even pay attention or practice the message. Then there is the few who do not go to church but practice and believe in the word of God. I am not saying do or do not go to church, i am saying practice and paying attention is what is important. In spirituality and in life.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

East–West Schism

"...A series of ecclesiastical differences and theological disputes between the Greek East and Latin West preceded the formal split that occurred in 1054.[1][3][4] Prominent among these were the procession of the Holy Spirit (Filioque), which concerned whether leavened or unleavened bread should be used in the Eucharist,[a] the bishop of Rome's claim to universal jurisdiction, and the place of the See of Constantinople in relation to the pentarchy...."

Elohim/God has Provided External/Earthly Christianity for the 2.2 Billion Christians in Christendom. The Practitioners of Earthly Christianity are content with the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion, Confession to a Priest/Pastor and Church Attendance.

Although these Earthly Christians keep the Sabbath on a Day and/or Way of their Choosing, from a Spiritual Perspective they are Not Really Keeping the Sabbath. In fact, from a Spiritual Perspective, they are Not and have Never been Really Saved.

Keeping the sabbath day holy means "six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you will rest." It doesn't matter what your intentions are, or what you heart says. You either rest from work on the seventh day or you don't.

Given your response it is safe to assume that you are Not a Practitioner of the Mystical Branch of Judaism.

Certain Masters of Kabbalah are Practitioners of Mystical Shabbat:

Mystical Shabbat

"The masters of Kabbalah explained all of the elements of the Sabbath rituals as a consistent thematic drama of the reunion of the Shekhinah the Sabbath bride, with her mate--and in so doing exerted considerable influence on the shape of those rituals...."

You are correct. I have no desire to study Kabbalah at all. But I do know that Jewish Kabbalists rest on the sabbath.
