Something We All Can Agree On

Faith-confidence in what we hope for (Hebrews 11)
I refuse to eat them if the word fries is mentioned
Some fries are better tasting than others. I don't buy chips because I'll eat too many of them. Now I have to stop myself from buying peanuts in the shell. Salted, of course. So I guess we don't all agree on these things. But I hope we can agree we're all alive at the time of posting.

I'm spirituality dead.
I wasn't speaking of spiritually being alive. Although before I found God and He found me, I, too, was spiritually gone -- in a wilderness -- anyway once again, I'm up way beyond the time for packing it in, time for me to revive myself by sleeping. Take care and good night, or good morning, whatever the situation.

A British person will use the word "chips" for what we call "French fries".

Now an argument about what to call them has begun.

Since they are fried that does seem appropriate. But I always thought of a chip as something rather thin. Like a chip of glass.

They're also cooked so why not call them cooks.

No, not really in practice, because that is an abstract cognitive rational result and while true, the fun starts not with that there is something, but what it is and what we ought to do about. :D
What?? ok, anyway, it's past my bedtime, the answer may be too abstruse for me to understand in any case.

No, the rest of the world would call them chips.
Yes, well 'fries' is the turnoff word for me. Even though I ate them for years, as well as "chips." I swore off chips, the potato chip kind, long ago. I bought them, however, by the droves and ate them. Now that I'm off chips AND fries, yes, I've turned to popcorn and peanuts in the shell, salted. I need to get rid of the peanuts, too tempting to keep by my chair and munch on them when I'm hungry. OK, finished once again. G'nite again.
