Are you frightened of God's judgment?

I'm not. Let me ask you this:

Do you believe (that ultimately) good things happen to good people...

And bad things happen to bad people?

I believe they do.

And that this is good and just.

I don't believe that bad things happen to good people or that good things happen to bad people.

I don't believe that God holds us to impossibly high standards or casts people into any "lake of fire" on the basis of minor transgressions. Which I know is what some people believe.

Indeed I believe that God is sparing with his wrath. Why do I believe this? Because that is the impression I get from scripture, and also this makes sense to me given my other beliefs.

I don't think that any nice person has anything to fear from God's judgment.

And I believe that when it comes to evil people justice will be served!

I believe that the system is just and that God is just. By the standards of any reasonable person.

I don't fear God or his judgement.

What do you think?

Do you fear God?

I can't answer this poll. It doesn't reflect my beliefs.

I assume you're speaking of the Christian God here. I believe he exists, but I don't believe he is who he(or others)say he is; just one of myriad of other deities. Nothing special about him.

I don't believe in afterlife judgement, so no need to fear a God who isn't relevant to me. In my worldview, karma comes into play, not any God's judgement.

I feel like my Gods are supportive of me as my own karmas kick in...

I don't fear that which doesn't involve me. And even as my pantheon is fearsome, there is nothing for me to fear. They have my back, so to speak.

The Synverse could have put me in much worse times and locations. I have my own rules to obey and honor and as long as I follow the laws, my own rules and don't make anyone a victim, I feel like I win at life in this current time of society. I don't fear the Synverse and I don't worship the Synverse, but I actively try to shape parts of it with my own changes.

All you need is love.
No, I don't fear God and his alleged judgment of me. I've let go of what I call the fear-mongering tactics of Christianity (i.e., fear of God, fear of God's wrath, going to hell for all eternity, being tortured for all eternity in hell) since I renounced my personal Christian faith.

I love God and respect the Creator of heaven and earth, but have no fear since my life is safe in Christ...

...Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.

Glad to read you came to realize this
(Seems no fun to me, to "fear God")

I could be wrong, but by "God" I assume you mean the Abrahamic God. No. I don't fear him. To me, he's just an asura.

My God is Shiva. Shiva is kind. He is love. I have no reason to fear Him.
Once I prayed to Shiva to appear to me
He did, I never asked Him since
He did scare me a bit

But, I Love Him anyway:)

No religious beliefs
Though I don't believe in any particular god, I do have opinions about them (as presented by theists).

Basically, a god that would subject humans to any version of hell is not worthy of my respect. And respect is everything to me. Something so powerful that hurts creatures that are relatively so weak is just a bully, that's all. So, if the OT god was real, I would take whatever steps I needed to protect myself, as I do with thunderstorms. But I could never respect such a god. I would always go through the motions of worship with my fingers crossed behind my back.

I wasn't sure how to answer the poll.

My answer would have been God exists, as opposed to "He" exists, but I dont fear any kind of judgement from God.

In my opinion.

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
Can't fear what I believe don't exist. The source of life isn't fearsome though; mysterious yes, but not in control morally. There's no righteous judge because nature is messy, and indifferent to morality; atrocious things happen.

Hide and go seek or else is no way for a God to be nor rightful to judge anyone else.

The Abrahamic God is love also and is our merciful judge.

Voting as to Fourth option - No fear - but can't positively say that God (or similar) exists or doesn't exist.

I fear being separated from God but not His judgement. I hope His judgement burns all my iniquities from me.
