Texas pastor openly calls on 'Christian nationalists' to 'impose their values on society'

One way to look this is to ask yourself a question, why are you attracted to something.
Do you have a sexual attraction to someone of the same sex? If not, join the club.

I have a higher level of testosterone v estrogen, so my sex drive isn't gear to another man. But if I was a man having a higher level of estrogen, I probably would be turned on seeing a "very sexy man". Research shows that it's the hormone levels that mostly dictates our sexual drive.

BTW, at 77, my testosterone level is probably quite low, and one byproduct of this I believe is I'm much more emotional than I was even only 20 years ago.

How? They have been allowed to be part of society.
No, they have not, as another poster has thoroughly explained.

They've been historically denied equal rights, employment rights, access to adoption, equal access (and treatment) to healthcare and medicine, marriage, and on and on and on, and that's just in North America alone. Hell, it was a crime to be gay in the USA until like the 1960-1980s. There are people running around North America, today, as we speak, who would tell you that being gay is an abomination.

The Nazis simply murdered gay people. So did "The Church" when it ruled over most of Europe. Try to imagine that ... being killed just for being gay!

You really should read up on some history.

But society has obviously certain rules. For example, if you murder people, you go to jail (at least usually). Person can be part of society, but it doesn't necessary mean person can do whatever he wants.
This applies to what we're talking about, how, exactly?

Reasonable sexual attraction is that which produces best offspring. The whole point of sexual attraction is that man and woman reproduce. Normally the attraction points to person who would be a good partner for that. But in some cases, it can be misdirected to something that is not reasonable.

One way to look this is to ask yourself a question, why are you attracted to something. Then, after you have answered to that, you can think, is it really reasonable. I believe there is always some reason for the attraction. And then the second phase is to think, is the reason good. And after that, even if the reason is good, is it good to do what you desire, because of the attraction.
So I did that. The only answer I can come up with is, I was born this way. So, now what? If I'm not harming anyone, what's unreasonable about it?

I think Alex Jones trial is a ridiculous soviet style show trial.
It wasn't. It was all conducted according to the rules of civil procedure. Jones had his chance to defend himself and he screwed it up. Not that he had any defense to lying about the murders of children and sending his followers to their houses to harrass them, forcing some to go into hiding.

Freedom of speech doesn't exist, if "false" information can't be said.
There are still laws about libel and slander, and these are real laws that hold people accountable for false statements. And people can say untrue things all they want. But when what they say causes harm, or leads to harm, then the victims can sue. This is very old and well established legal standards, so I'm not sure why you oppose it. You are free to say whatever you want. Just be prepared to be held legally accontable if it is untrue and harms people.

You have a lot to learn, grasshopper.

Speaking only for myself here, I have no interest whatsoever in producing offspring of any kind -- this has not diminished my feelings of attraction.

Stop trying to regulate attraction -- even if you were doing it right, you'd still be wrong on principle.

I hope those who lied about the covid vaccines will be held the same way accountable. I just don't believe there is real justice in this world left.

The homosexual act has been against rules because Bible tells it is wrong. Bible has a long list of sexual acts that are not accepted.

‘The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. The man who lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. “‘If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have committed a perversion; their blood shall be upon them. If a man lies with a male, as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. “‘If a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burned with fire, both he and they; that there may be no wickedness among you. “‘If a man lies with an animal, he shall surely be put to death; and you shall kill the animal. “‘If a woman approaches any animal, and lies down with it, you shall kill the woman, and the animal: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. “‘If a man takes his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness; it is a shameful thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people: he has uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
Lev. 20:10-17

And you may ask, why are those wrong. And I believe the reason why the homosexual act is not accepted is that it is not reasonable nor healthy.
Nah, it's because the Bible is old and reflects the thinking of iron age peoples. It also endorses slavery, but I don't see you pushing that. Why all the focus on homosexuality?

That's because they're slavery apologists and typically won't condemn the slavery in the Bible, rather instead they try to spin into something good and endlessly yip and yipe about it allegedly being better than slavery as we think of it.
