Sorry I do not believe you. You have not given me anything to run away from or not answer.

Take Care.
Yes, I did. I have asked more than one question that you ran away from. The last one I asked twice. Both times you ran away. It is still there in my post.

It is foolish not to believe someone when the posts are still there and unaltered. If I edited my posts after the fact there is a note that appears at the bottom of the post.

You were answered twice. As posted the first time you cannot know God or His Word if you do not believe and follow it.
Both times you ran away.
Sadly your not telling the truth. I am still here both times.

Your false claims and accusations become boring after a while. Lets talk more when you have something to contribute to the discussion. So far you haven't.

Okay, you ran away again. I will ask you a third time:

Why can't you obey 1 Peter 3 15?

No it is you running away by not responding to the content of my posts and the scriptures provided in them that are in disagreement with you
I will ask you a third time: Why can't you obey 1 Peter 3 15?
Well thank you dear friend for the opportunity to share Gods' Word with you again. As posted earlier, no one can know God and His Word if they do not believe and follow what God's Word says according to the scriptures. (1 John 2:3-4; 1 John 3:6-9; James 2:13-26; John 3:36). Unlike you being someone that has chosen to depart the faith and has turned their back on God and His Word as you told us earlier, I choose to believe and obey all of Gods' Word including 1 Peter 3:15. You do not because you do not know of believe in God or His Word. Did you want to start contributing to the OP now? :)

You keep posting about 1 John 2:3-4 as if this is a shield against the fallacies yoh post alongside.

Yet it is you who is in disagreement with 1 John 2:3-4.

Also, it’s amazing that you say that the son of god who was manifested to save mankind IS ALMIGHTY GOD who manifested him…

You don’t see the mis-logic in your claims?

You still claim that you are the one believing in the word of God and all else in not?

Jesus says he was sent by the Father… Since when does ‘God’ get sent anywhere?

And, if you are going to say (or have said) that God subdued himself to God and God became man to save man, how does an eternal everlasting immutable God change to a mortal being to save his own creation - That is ridiculous?!

Sin came by the unrighteousness of one man - Salvation came by the righteousness of one man.

Man sinned against God. Repentance must come from man to God… God cannot repent to himself!!

You just refuted the Bible. Congratulations.

And why do you think that it is okay to make false claims about others? How can anyone take you seriously when you do that.

And you still ran away from my question. Do I need to ask it again?

Sorry dear friend, I do not believe you. According to the scriptures in Psalms 14:1 it is written the fool says in his heart there is no God because it is foolish to think there is no God without having any evidence for that belief, and again in 1 Corinthians 1:18-21 18, it is written; For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God 19, For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20, Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21, For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe." and again, "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty." - 1 Corinthians 1:27 and again in 1 Corinthians 3:19-20 19, For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 20, And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. I believe we can never know God or His Words if we choose to continue walking a path of sin and unbelief according to the scriptures already provided in the post content you continue to ignore. Therefore there will never be any agreement between a believer that knows God and His Word and someone that does not believe in God and does not know Gods' Word. So we will agree to disagree dear friend. This OP is on the claim that "the Lords day" is Sunday. Did you have anything to contribute? - I do not believe so.

No I choose to believe God's Word and disagree with you as shown why from the scriptures in earlier posts to you. Your posts are non responsive silence again to the post content providing the scriptures that disagree with you. See more recently, post # 503 linked; post # 507 linked; post # 514 linked. Ignoring Gods' Word does not make it disappear. According to Jesus they become our judge come judgement day (see John 12:47-48).

LNAO! Oh my what a failure.

Sorry but every time that you say "I don't believe you" you have just lost the debate. Once again, it does not matter what a person that cannot reason properly believes. It maters what they can demonstrate. You have failed to support any of your claims.

From now on when you say "I don't believe you" I will take that as an admission that you are worng.

And you still have not answer why you do not follow 1 Peter 3 15. Maybe you are unaware of what that verse says:

15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

Do you need me to explain to you how you failed at following that verse?

There is growing evidence of a ‘Bot’-like behaviour pattern going on here with 3rdAngel,

All responses are seeming like the same since way back - and there is way too much text with links being repeated with no expansion.

No matter what I ask, there’s no direct response to it - as you are finding out yourself - which points to some kind of automated response based on key words.

I used to write up text using such a system for a company I worked for. In the beginning I hand wrote the whole thing, time and time again with variations based on the keywords for particular purposes. Tedious, boring, mind numbing for me. But as a ‘lazy’ minded person for repetitiveness, and being a computer programmer, I quickly (once decided) to build an automated system to do the work for me.
I just input the keywords and - Shazam!! - out come whole blocks of text in seconds. I wasn’t responding to someone’s direct questions but such a system could (given keywords from a question) be made to output an immediate response similar to 3rdAngels.

Of course, if the programme ‘blew up’ because the keywords weren’t ‘proper’, I could always hand write a response in similar likeness to the automated one with little evidence of two different ‘authors’!

Yes, I’m not getting any sense from 3rdAngel - just the same repeated text with no expansion towards explanation.
So I guess that is a no? You have any responses and are not willing to address the scriptures in the posts that are shared with you that are in disagreement with you? - I did not think so. Lets talk more when your wanting to have a discussion. I am not interested in name calling and false accusations. So we will agree to disagree.

Take Care.

I did not post that to you so why are you expecting a response?

What were the keywords that triggered your response YET when I do post to you, you do not respond with answers … just accusations of ‘You did not answer a question I asked you!’?

There is nothing in Acts or the epistles or in any book of the bible or in the writings of the Apostles that says God's 4th commandment has now been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a holy day of rest.
I've already explained this to you, as observing Shabbat is one of the 613 Jewish Commandments that are not binding on Gentiles, plus it doesn't mesh with Jesus' Two Commandments. For example, do you keep kosher, which are a series of commandments found in Torah? Do you travel more than a mile & 1/4 on Shabbat? Are you sons circumcised? Do you keep your head covered in public? IOW, all you are doing is "picking & choosing" from Jewish Law.

Since you keep repeating the same 'ole/same 'ole, there's no reason for me to go on with this.

The smiling that you do is that your posts are being found out as fallacious. You smile because you thought you were clever in disguising the nonsense you know you are posting.

You are rally saying, ‘Dang! That guy is good - I thought what I said would flummox him but he saw right through me…. Yip! Gotta try harder!!’

Yes your full of name calling because you unwilling to address the content of my posts and scriptures shared in them that are in disagreement with you. We are better off discussing post content in a friendly respectful manner then trying to make the discussion unfriendly and personal. I would appreciate if if we could stay on topic to the OP. If you have something to contribute in a friendly manner that is great. I am not interested in anything else.

Sorry I do not believe you. Lets talk further when you can prove what you say. Your posts here are only empty accusations that avoid addressing the content of my posts and scriptures shared with you. Those type of conversations are not a discussion they are a distraction showing that the person doing them cannot defend their belief in my opinion because they cannot deny the message so they then seek to attack the messenger. Therefore we will agree to disagree.

Hi metis nice to see you again and thanks for sharing and having an input. I agree that there are around 613 laws in the old testament. However, God makes a distinction between these laws in the old covenant scriptures. For example according to the scriptures Gods 10 commandments are Gods eternal laws (see Ecclesiastes 3:14; Matthew 4:4) that give us a knowledge of good (moral right doing when obeyed) and evil (moral wrong doing when disobeyed); sin (moral wrong doing when disobeyed) and righteousness (moral right doing when obeyed) in both the old covenant and the new covenant (see Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4 and Psalms 119:172) and according to James in the new covenant in James 2:10-11 if we break anyone of them we stand guilty before God of sin.

God's law was not made by Moses it was made by God alone. It was first spoken by God alone (Exodus 20:3-17) and then written with the finger of God alone on two tables of stone (Exodus 32:16) and nothing was to be added to it (Deuteronomy 4:2; Deuteronomy 5:22; ) and it was to be separated from the Mosaic book of the law. It is called God's Law or the 10 Commandment, because he was the one alone who made it and commanded Moses to keep in separated from the book of the law in the Ark of the Covenant (Nehemiah 10:29; Deuteronomy 10:4-5; Deuteronomy 31:25-26; Deuteronomy 4:13; Exodus 34:28) That is why it is referred to in the scriptures as God's LAW or the 10 commandments (not the 613) *see Exodus 34:28; Deuteronomy 4:13 and Deuteronomy 10:4) .

Most of the other (not all) laws written in the Mosaic book of the covenant (see Exodus 24:7) given to the nation of Israel were laws specific to the nation of Israel (e.g. civil laws Deuteronomy 24:10-11). The Mosaic book of the law also included health, hygiene and dietary laws that are still useful today. The majority of the Mosiac laws (not speaking about Gods' law - 10 commandments) where also prophetic shadow laws pointing to the coming of the Messiah in Jesus as Gods' sacrifice for the sins of the world. These included all the ceremonial laws under the earthly Sanctuary (Temple law). the Levitical Priesthood, the laws for animal sacrifices and sin offerings, circumcision and annual holy days (e.g. see Leviticus 1 to Leviticus 23). These were all shadow laws fulfilled and continued in Jesus under Gods' new covenant promise (see Hebrews 7 to Hebrews 10).

All of Gods' 10 commandments however, in the new covenant continue to be Gods' standard of good (moral right doing when obeyed) and evil (moral wrong doing when disobeyed); sin (moral wrong doing when disobeyed) and righteousness (moral right doing when obeyed) in both the old covenant and the new covenant (see Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4 and Psalms 119:172) and according to James in the new covenant in James 2:10-11 if we break anyone of them we stand guilty before God of sin. This then of course according to the scriptures includes Gods' 4th commandment which is one of God's 10 commandments that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken.
For example, do you keep kosher, which are a series of commandments found in Torah?
Yes I believe most of Gods' health, hygiene and dietary laws are written for our good.
Do you travel more than a mile & 1/4 on Shabbat?
There is no scripture in all of the bible that says you should not travel more than a mile and a 1/4 in there bible is there?
Are you sons circumcised?
Circumcision is not a requirement in the new covenant (see Acts 15:1-25) but keeping of the commandments of God is (see 1 Corinthians 7:19). According to the scriptures circumcision was a shadow law representing Gods' new covenant promise of a new heart and mind to love the Lord your God with all your heart mind and soul and our neighbor as our self (see Deuteronomy 30:6; Jeremiah 4:4; Deuteronomy 10:16; comp, the new covenant promise in Jeremiah 31:31-34; Romans 2:25-29 and 1 Corinthians 7:10). Circumcision was a shadow law pointing to God's new covenant promise of a new heart to walk in Gods' law (comp. Ezekiel 36:24-27; Jeremiah 31:31-34; Hebrews 8:10-12).
Do you keep your head covered in public? IOW, all you are doing is "picking & choosing" from Jewish Law.
There is no scripture saying I need to keep my head covered in public.
Since you keep repeating the same 'ole/same 'ole, there's no reason for me to go on with this.
There is no same old same old we either believe and follow Gods' Word or we do not. According to the scriptures there is not a single scripture in all of Gods' Word that says Gods' 4th commandment of the 10 commandments have now been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a holy day of rest in honor of the resurrection of Jesus. This is a man-made teaching and tradition that has led many away from God and His Word to break the commandments of God against the very warnings given by Jesus in Matthew 15:3-9 and in Hebrews 3:8-19 and Hebrews 4:1-11. Jesus says in Matthew 15:3-9 that if we follow man-made teachings and traditions that lead us to break the commandments of God than we are not worshiping God. According to the scriptures God has His true people in every Church living up to all the knowledge that He has revealed to them (John 10:16) but many of these Church's are no longer following God and His Word preferring to follow instead the teachings of men over the holy Words of God. According to Jesus a change is coming. Those who have ears to hear and eyes to see will hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him (see John 10:26-27). Jesus says the hour is coming and now is that His true followers will worship the father in Spirit and in truth. God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth (see John 4:23-24; John 17:17). God is calling us all back to worship Him according to His Word. Gods sheep will hear the call and follow him. Those who do not hear are not Gods' sheep according to John 10:26-28. The great test that will be coming to everyone of us is who do we believe and follow; God or man?

Take Care.
