Dark entities

The Sum of Awe

Brought to you by the moment that spacetime began.
It seems so tempting to me to call upon left hand path entities, primarily Lucifer and Set. At the same time I wonder if they are manipulative and deceitful beings, who would look to tempt and then corrupt me. Or what if they really are beings that would help break me free from my moral standards that seem to be getting me nowhere in life? (I tend to think for myself when it comes to morality, but my subconscious mind has strict moral codes for socializing, it seems)

I believe these beings might be useful for breaking free from unnecessary guilt. I’ve only called upon Krishna and an angel so far, and I’ve seen results but I am still not where I want to be.

I think I might keep working with Krishna, perhaps as my relationship grows closer to Him I will eventually get to where I need to be.

There is something appealing about dark entities though… i might consider it one day. I just wanted to ramble my thoughts. What are your thoughts in response?

I'd do it. I mean you ain't going to know what they really like until you contact them no?

I honor Lucifer and so far it has been very freeing working with him.

I don't know about the classification "dark entities" but let's translate that into "gods and spirits that are overtly adversarial to human life and living" because that is probably what you basically mean, right?

Usually, when so many words are spoken about "be careful, this stuff is dangerous" I roll my eyes and consider such words overdramatic. In most cases, they are - if you're reasonably competent and know what you're doing, working with gods and spirits is no more dangerous than anything else you'd do in a typical day.

Working with gods and spirits that delight in human suffering, bloodshed, and torture is an exception. I don't recommend it in general, and I especially don't recommend it for anyone other than a very experienced practitioner.
Yes, gods who don't give two craps about human lives are fantastic at breaking boundaries. They will continue to push and push until you serve their agenda or sever contact. Think for a moment about what that will really mean working with gods that delight in human suffering and ask if that's the sort of psychopath you want to become. Proceed with extreme caution. Be absolutely certain you are in good health before doing anything with gods and spirits that are hostile to humans and your health.

In what ways has he freed you? And you once told me that you view 'Lucifer' as more of a title than a name, right? So I want to make sure, is the Lucifer you speak of the fallen angel that rebelled against the God of Abraham?

The same can be said for any deity

He's helped me with my confidence and has helped me to embrace who I am guiltfree.

Well that's one myth about him. I am referring to Samael the one who is often conflated with the giving of the apple.

I am unsure if Lucifer is one who delights in human suffering or not.

I am conflicted. Some people desire to be more carefree, some desire to be more conscious. I don't know which direction I want to go in, and I'm afraid of losing my conscience entirely when working with these entities.

From what I know (which is admittedly limited) he wouldn't fall in that category and would be a safer adversarial entity to work with and isn't blatantly "evil" as it were.

Doing some diving into the "shadow self" as it is sometimes called is often part of various occult and magical traditions. Sometimes that can be a way to start an exploration rather than going straight to divine entities.
