I did.

Save of course for the man who is so consistently dense minded to think plastic bags itself was focus in the first place, in spite of multiple and futile attempts to point out its the legal mechanisms instituted to control people and businesses and not the bags themselves.

If I recall correctly, this loops back to a thread from a few weeks ago, when I asked you your opinion about safety standards. To be clear, I'm very concerned about authoritarianism and such, but I also think some oversight is crucial. I want to know that when I flip a lightswitch I'm not going to be electrocuted, and when I drive on a bridge, it's not going to collapse.

So where do YOU draw the line?

No. Just being realistic to note nothing is actually accomplished other than more and more control exercised over people by authoritarian advocates.
You back the party that supported book bans, tries to defy the establishment clause of the first amendment, and opposed women's rights, LGBT rights, and cannabis legalization. Sounds like you adore authoritarianism.

Wait! There was a plastic bag ban?!

*Hides plastic bag stash.*
It was a measure by a state or city (I don't recall) to reduce plastic waste due to its effect on the ecosystem, and @Twilight Hue saw it as a huge affront to freedom. But when it comes to the bodily autonomy of women however, he shrugs his shoulders.

Shows how biased you are in your personal assessments as you have the recurring habit of seeing only what you want to see, and ingore the rest as you self justify and actively accuse others. Many have pointed that out to you already.

I've made several postings in the past defending the right to choose. Start including the truth and stop falsely accusing me of things that I hadn't done.

It's others who go the hypocritical route.

When Roe vs. Wade was overturned, you said that it should be up to the states. Thus a state banning abortion = okay, but a state banning plastic bags = "I'll give you my bag when you pry it from my cold, dead hands!"

And people who want plastic bags can get them elsewhere as well, right?
Sure. But I can still decry the legal mechanisms potential to go on from plastic bags to more larger restrictions and banning decrees. The same mechanisms that were used to overturn RvW which is why I essentially stated that turnabout is fair play.

That nanny state gun? It can be turned on its creators just as fine as its used to suppress others right of choice. No matter what it is.

You can't have it one way.

"The nanny state"

So you're saying women deserved to have their bodily sovereignty denied over some measure intended to protect the environment? Even if that made any sense, do you really believe that's why republicans pushed for abortion bans? Over bags?
