are much more significant than tax evasion.
So "creationist" is relatively lower in the
label pecking order for Oktar.

No all creationists are criminals. Not all criminals are creationists. That is what I prefer. It is even backed up by evidence.

I'm having a hard time with this one. It seems excessive, but televangelists are often bad people and doing real damage and harm to others, scamming and conning their way to wealth. "Give until it hurts" some of them will even say.
And then Creationists also have their own issues. I don't know about Muslims bit Christians promoting it do legit have many features of a cult, and certain aspects do need snuffed out.
So it seems a good thing such sorts are punished, but eight millennia? They probably won't even be able to find his bones in just a fraction of that time.

So it is of interest in this forum, that a creationist has been jailed for crimes not related to creationism.

Adnan's case involved quite a bit of sexual abuse as well.
If one were inclined to commit the types of crimes he was convicted of, Turkey isn't the best place to do it IMO.

People like him don't have the excuse of being deceived or being too stupid to know. He is a professional liar as all professional creationists are. And when your business is deception, other crimes come naturally.
