Have you ever had a sleep paralyses attack?

In the past I've had minor ones. The only major paralysis issue I had was once when I trying to go off medication and my thoughts caved on me so bad that once I was paralyzed from the neck down, fully awake, for a few hours until I went to sleep and woke up fine. That was a scary time in my life ... thankfully it hasn't happened again. Since taking new medication however I have gotten brain freezes again. Not fun.

I've had sleep paralysis but never attributed it to the paranormal. Except when I was in my teens I had read about aliens using it to examine people. I thought about that for a couple minutes then shrugged it off. Sleep paralysis is scary.

Not full body. However, one of the absolute worst terrors I've had in recent memory involved paralysis. I had apparently slept on my arm funny, and it was completely asleep. As in I could not even move it asleep. Had zero feeling in it, no sensation, etc. Well, I rolled over, and my arm moved just right to where my hand fell onto my face. I couldn't feel my face, so I had no connection of that sensation; all I knew was there was suddenly a hand on my face.

Needless to say I woke up screaming.

I have come to believe that in that between sleep and awake state we are more capable of experiencing the paranormal through the astral plane. So, experiencing lower astral (negative) things while paralyzed is a very traumatic experience for many.

I've only had one, and which I would call a night terror rather than sleep paralysis. It was a hot night so I was only covered in a sheet. For some reason I awoke to think a demon was at the foot of the bed about to devour me, and trying to pull the sheet off me. I was having a battle trying to hang on to the sheet and to cover myself. I eventually realised it was my feet and long toenails that was doing the sheet pulling against my hands. I might have had a night out drinking too - can't remember.

What happened?:)

I've experienced sleep paralysis twice. It happened to me three times in one night, the second time being the most recent. After it was over, I got out of bed and smudged my bedroom and the rest of my house with white oak sage and Palo Santo sticks. I began to feel the negative energy in my house lift after I finished smudging all the rooms, the windows, and the mirrors. While these experiences were unsettling, they are not the most frightening ones that I've had with a spirit. I've only had one terrifying experience with a spirit.

The short answer is that it was the most frightening experience that I've ever had with a spirit in the past fifteen years that I've been investigating haunted locations across the country. It chilled me to the bone, and I hope it never happens to me again. I have been to several haunted locations since then and it hasn't happen again. I explained the experience in one of your older threads (read it here).
