Part of me would welcome the chaos that he would create. Part of me wishes that the Republicans could go back to their old ways, In the 1950's they were largely the party of infrastructure. Huge advances were made under Eisenhower. Nixon, for all of his flaws, initiated the EPA and OSHA. And of course in the 60's they supported voting rights more strongly than the Democrats did. Everything about them that matters has turned around since those days. They used to be the party of science and now they are the party of ignorance.

I hope he runs again. I like watching the republicans having to eat the **** they've been creating for the last 40 years. I like watching FOX turning on the turd they've worshiped for the last decade just so they can worship another one. If they don't run Trump, he'll run as an independent, taking his lunatic supporters with him. And if they do run him, he'll lose. Nothing could be more fitting for the party that abandoned all principals and were willing to destroy the nation just to win elections. And nothing could be more fitting for their supporters that were willing to vote for such completely incompetent and criminally dishonest candidates just so "their team" could win. And they could force their selfish agenda on everyone else.

I feel that way for the Democrats. I want their 'best' so their policies can affect the next election.

Which big announcement? That Trump will accept the nomination for the Speaker of the House or that he will run for President in 2024?

Trump as the Speaker of the House would be very interesting to watch. He would be in charge of assigning people to all House investigative committees. Trump will also be third in the line of succession to the president. If Biden and Harris could not continue to serve, for any reason, Trump would become President without having to run. Trump would also be in charge of the budget; with a line item veto, so he may decide to balance the budget, which will impact pork barrel deficit spending.

Running for President, on the other hand, has the advantages that the Democrats and the Swamp will have to leave him along, since continuing to harass him, would be like election tampering; trying to target a political opponent. This would buy Trump time, allowing an alternate Republican Speaker of the House to investigate the investigators who lied about the collusion? Fear of a perjury trap will allow the truth to come out of the habitual liars.

Nobody has yet been held accountable for the Russian Collusion Coup, which divided the country. It attempted to over throw a dually elected President and caused citizens to take sides. The main reason justice has not been served appears to be due to not being able to fire good soldiers who were following orders. The new round of investigations, would need to go higher up chain of command, which has been buffered, but which may be exposed due to this twist of fate. If Trump was vindicated, then the future may be quite different than expected.
