Pence stood his ground and kept the certification process going. Had he not done that, this country would have spun out into a constitutional crisis. He totally could have chosen the other road, but instead acted out of integrity. He gets major props for that in my opinion.Other - Way too early to consider. And yet, screw Pence, he can rot.
I vote we need ranked choice voting. Otherwise any "other" choice benefits the opposition.Vote ...
Yes Pence gets props for that. And Cheney gets props for her work on the Jan 6th committee.Pence stood his ground and kept the certification process going. That's his job. It doesn't absolve him of being a terrible person, or clean the blood and suffering of LGBT youth in his state and his "conversion therapies" from his hands.Pence stood his ground and kept the certification process going.
OK, thank you, I was not aware of that. That's his job. It doesn't absolve him of being a terrible person, or clean the blood and suffering of LGBT youth in his state and his "conversion therapies" from his hands.
True, but he screws up so badly everywhere else that I can't consider him for office.Pence stood his ground and kept the certification process going. Those "Heartland Hoosier" values he represents is a big reason I left that state.Other - Way too early to consider. And yet, screw Pence, he can rot.
yes, of course. my reaction was to "screw him, he can rot", lol. Seemed a bit extreme, but I was not informed.True, but he screws up so badly everywhere else that I can't consider him for office.
Heroes often rise to the challenge but fail at every day life. He should be recognized as one of the heroes of 1/6. That doesn't qualify him for office.
From that article:Here's a snopes write-up on the Pence "Gay Conversion" issue. They say it's partially true.
Did Mike Pence Support 'Gay Conversion' Therapy?
I am totally uninformed about politics in your country and I could easily make such a faux pas myself. I am not quite at the "screw him" level, but I know that he would be a terrible choice.yes, of course. my reaction was to "screw him, he can rot", lol. Seemed a bit extreme, but I was not informed.
