The socialist right wants to stop business freedom to make decisions but instead to toe the (right wing) party line. How like the Chinese system this is. It almost seems like ALEC has been studying how China works ti implement it here. We can't have the market decide to reward or punish such actions, of course, because political correctness on the right is more important.

(The headline is wrong) it not "from" but "from conducting".

Conservative lobbying group pressing states to adopt laws protecting companies from ‘political boycotts’

American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) will lobby legislators to back its proposal at its States and Nation Policy Summit in Washington later this month.

The plan would require all government entities to include a clause in their contracts with businesses that they will promise to not “engage in economic boycotts.”

We have two parties that both represent only the rich. Why are singling one out over the other?

It's only a matter of time until the people get sick of all this sort of corporatist crap. One would hope.

False equivalence.
Only 1 party wants to tax corporations.

Corporations not only run the government but also are the only "citizens" because it's illegal for anyone else to rent Congress.

There are many ways to help big companies and both parties do it even to the detriment of individuals and the commonweal.

Usually, it's the Dems who want to regulate
things related to speech & economics.
Now the Pubs want this power too.
Ugh.

One great thing about Trumpty Dumpty's
mid-term election failure is the balance of
power should rein in the worst tendencies
of both.
This seems somewhat related to the
"3 Stooges Syndrome". Perhaps the
political version is "2 Stooges Syndrome"?

Only 1 party supported "Citizens United." Which gave corporations the ability to purchase elections anonymously.

Reps = corporate policies
Dems = worker policies

It's that simple.

Only 1 party wants to tax corporations.

If we tax Corporations and give it to the Federal Government, the tax revenue will get a negative rate of return. It will be partially used to pay interest on the increasing national debt, and to cover incompetence, redundancy, and corruption. This is a bad tax dollar investment; a -15% rate of return to be generous. One would need to be brain dead to think this is a good investment.

Republicans understand that if the Corporations keep this extra tax money, the money will can get a positive rate of return in the economy, which will add jobs and increase GNP for the country. The most competent people are in the free market.

Since there are collective needs, the compromise is to have some taxes on corporations, but to give all the money directly to the states. Almost all the states have balanced budgets in their State Constitutions and unlike Big Gov, they could at least give us much less of a negative rate of return. I would cut off Big Government, cold turkey, until they get their act together and stop being morons, parasites and thieves, who cannot be trusted with tax dollars. Who would invest in any firm that will always lose your money?

It is the Democrats who like the money pit approach of Big Wasteful Government. The boneheads tried to soak the tax payers $5 Trillion, but were defeated by one of their own. The Democrats try to spill the incompetent approach over into the free market via tampering with the free market. Big government created the student loan crisis. Their solution,, to their own created problem, is to throw more tax money down the pit, instead of hold accountable the morons and criminals who screwed the students.

We need a Federal balanced budget amendment. Leaders who cannot function under these common sense conditions need to fired, so what we have left is a Government for the people. and not for itself. If we had a balanced budget and could remove the negative rate of return, this is like having more tax dollar; value, but without any extra taxes. This how you grow money and value.

.
Corporate talking points. Notice how everything you mentioned was negative.
Trickle-down doesn't work, never will.
Republicans want ZERO corporate tax.
Republicans want to tax working people instead, maximizing profits for corporations at the people's expense.
