There is a new Falwell Jr. documentary on Hulu concerning the sex scandal that brought down the president of Liberty University. Falwell Jr "was" the newest "kingmaker" in the evangelical community which was likely the push that Trump needed to win.
I recommend this documentary as a window into the history of Jerry Falwell seniors political influence as well as the bizarre married life of Falwell Jr. It was just crazy! The cast of characters, connections, real-estate scandal, blackmail, wealth and power make for an intriguing story! Even Trump lawyer Michael Cohen is in the mix!
People under 40 who may not know much about Jerry Falwell seniors' power in the 70's and 80's, this documentary has some coverage of that as well.
