When one understands what Jesus has done, then: Romans 8:16 16 For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
because we really believe: John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
and we understand that:Hebrews 9:12 With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.
Therefore:Romans 8:39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation willever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
If Jesus is your Lord and Savior, you can be sure.

The answer depends on what you mean by saved.
Do you mean saved in this sense, or this?
As should be noticed, the former cannot be known, because it involves an ongoing process, of which the results will not be known, until the process ends.
The later however, involves an acceptance, which involves steps to a specific goal - namely dedication to God, and baptism.
Once reached, the person is saved from the world, and a former course of life - Acts of the Apostles 2:40-41; 2 Corinthians 5:15; 1 Peter 4:1-3
They, as well as everyone else, who observes the person's conduct, and lifestyle - actions, would see that this person is saved... from the world.
Are they saved for life - once saved, always saved? Not according to the former text, and others, no.
One can go back into the world and be lost - even forever.

No, you can't in an absolute sense. The New Covenant specifies that one is saved by faith and faith alone. Humans however lack the ability to actually measure faith. You can have an estimation on your own faith though. However, you have a strong faith by no means says that your faith is the faith as required by the New Covenant. As a result, only God and Jesus can measure precisely about 1) how strong your faith is, and 2) whether your faith is the faith demanded by the New Covenant.
On the other hand, you can have a rather good enough estimation on both 1) and 2). James said faith without work is dead. It means you roughly tell faith of yours and others' by means of their behavior. The standard somehow lies in a good church. You thus need a kind of sense to get to a good church, then it's quite comfortable to tell where your and others' faith is. The basic judgment is, don't go to a controversial church. You need a conservative one without controversy. The church needs to embrace the faith statement of Apostles' Creed. That's basically what I can think of at this moment.

The way to answer this question is with the question, saved from what?
Jesus is about love and about the forgiveness of sins. If your sins are forgiven, then the power of the law is neutralized. For example, if you were the son of the King, who makes and judges all his laws, and he loves and always forgives you, you would be essentially exempt from the law. Being saved is about being saved from the power of the law, since law creates fear, inhibitions and induces self righteousness, relative to natural living.
During the Covid Pandemic one had to walk on eggshells in Democrat run cities, if your inner spirit wanted to be free. Fear will cause one to check their inner spirit, since these leaders were not very forgiven.
If you had a get out of jail free card; instant forgiveness of sin, granted by the King, that could be used at your discretion, you would be free from these laws. This golden card would give you a sense of calming security, as well as a sense of boldness, to test the rules, knowing your sins will be forgiven. This get out of jail free card would also dispel your many fears and inhibitions, allowing you to act on impulses from the Holy Spirit. You could take your Covid mask off and breath free, protected by your golden get our of jail free card.
The idea of a Divine, get out of jail free card; forgiveness of sin, is where faith can be developed. To be truly saved from fear, inhibitions and self righteous anger, created by the law, we need to be able to peacefully act on impulse, apart from law, while also living in a world of law, inhibition, and self righteous fear and indignation.
This inner need of faith, to be true to oneself; inner voice, may lead you down difficult paths and many cross roads, where you must choose your battles, while remaining flexible. He who endures is truly saved.
The Democrat offer a get out of jail free card to illegal immigrants, where they can ignore the law. Should the Government also grant all citizens an even better, get out of jail free gold card, so we can feel safe and free?
