Christian God?

Christians can't even define their own God. They don't know. They say ''male'' because they are male chauvinists.

I've heard many say male and some say female.

If the god is female, why is it said man was created first?

Fyi...
??? =any, all, neither, none

Edit...

Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”
The term was used to denote a race. Not a specific gender being. If the culture is male dominant, then the language is going to reflect that.

Bridging the Gap Between Believers and Skeptics
You said CHRISTIAN God. I voted male. "In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit", two of which are male and the Holy Spirit, well, I'm not sure, but I've heard that also being referred to as male.

However, God, in the way I understand God, doesn't have a gender.

He is our Father in Heaven.

I think you should be careful when you say there is no Christian God. The proper name "Christian God" denotes the God whose only begotten son was Jesus the Christ. It is a God specific to Christianity in some respects.

In Catholic belief Jesus is 'never' God the Father, always the Son, of the God of Israel.

The hopeful or the hopeless?
No .. I don't believe in "personal gods" .
I believe that there is only One God .. One Father .. One Jehovah .. One Allah.

In English, God is referred to as "He", because historically, "it" is not so respectful.
"In His own image" refers to spiritual attributes, in how our minds work. We have also been given responsibility.

God [He] is neither male or female. He creates what He wills.
He has created sexual and asexual creatures.
I understand your position. My post was specific to the poster "pearl" claiming that there is no Christian God while at the same time claiming to be Catholic which is a monotheistic, so they say, Christian religion an apparent contradiction.
As for me, I agree. If God exists I believe "he" would be the only one. I believe God would be a personal God in that "he" personally interacts with his creation not that each religious person would have their own unique personal God.

Hermaphroditic and Schizophrenic.

Creates themselves from themselves, and also refers to themselves with the Plural, in Genesis.

"Genesis 1:26 says, “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.’” Genesis 3:22 states, “And the LORD God said, ‘The man has now become like one of us.’”
