My own religion
Nothing irritates me more than people who are so self absorbed and oblivious to the outside world, they expect others to use special words to other people about them. I'm talking about pronoun fixation, by the way. The second thing which irritates me is how people have their various disorders listed, as if to showcase them. First, I don't know why they think people care if they are autistic, ADHD, or whatever else, including their status as indigenous or black.

Someone please explain all this to me? Am I missing something here because when I was growing up, this wasn't a thing. What was a thing was people introducing themselves as a gay man or a lesbian. I found that irritating as well, since I didn't see reason to know the sexual preferences of strangers and co-workers.

Those people are in the outside world to you, but it seems you only care about you.

It's not misinformation. The videos presented were from the source and after they were called out, their website was scrubbed. There is currently an active investigation being done on this matter.
Because of partisan pressures, not because there was any actual medical professionals that had a problem with it. There are age restrictions as to what procedures can be done, that's from the lips of people who have used those services. Denying them at all is damaging to the welfare of the public, minority or not. Guess it's easier to just not care, it's not your problem, not your children, not your friends, none of that.

You have to substantiate such claims, Matt Walsh is a hack that desperately wants to be taken seriously even though he spouts utter nonsense like the idea that science and accuracy has anything to do with a fictional story about a mermaid

1 in 6 children identify as LGBT+ now. Think on that.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2021/02/24/gen-z-lgbt/
Do you not realize how broad LGBTQ+ is? I fall under it for pete's sake, because I fall under the ace/demi umbrella. You aware of that? Do you know the distinction of sexual orientation, the types of attraction, sexual desire as not equivalent to a desire to have sex with someone?

1 in 6 is 16%, that's not as big as you're trying to make it out to be or some conspiracy theory, it's society recognizing that people's differences are not only valid, but enriching to society as a whole

Or go to the source:

"The vast majority of Generation Z adults who identify as LGBT -- 72% -- say they are bisexual. Thus, 11.5% of all Gen Z adults in the U.S. say they are bisexual, with about 2% each identifying as gay, lesbian or transgender."

About half of millennials (those aged 24 to 39 in 2020) who identify as LGBT say they are bisexual. In older age groups, expressed bisexual preference is not significantly more common than expressed gay or lesbian preference."

LGBT Identification Rises to 5.6% in Latest U.S. Estimate

So it looks like that increase in numbers amounts to more people identifying as bisexual.

What about the claims of adults today who detransitioned and claim they had surgery at 16? Even 14?

Point is, it’s growing. It’s not enriching society either ***STAFF EDIT*** It’s simply not. You have “family friendly” drag shows, with men, wearing things women wear at burlesque shows. The dances themselves are sexual, just like drag is. This isn’t making society better or interesting, just sad and toxic.

What's growing? Bisexualism? Or perhaps it isn't growing and people have always felt this way, but didn't feel comfortable talking about it until recently. Sexuality isn't, nor ever was, as binary as some want it to be. I'm not sure what's supposed to be so toxic about it. I'd say the opposite, given that people are now more free to be who they are.

***STAFF EDIT***

If you think drag queens who read stories to kids are dancing sexually for the kids, I don't know what to tell you other than to turn off Fox News and Newsmax and take a deep breath.

The vast majority of detransitioners who had surgery as a minor are intersexed who were transitioned as a child without their consent.

Also, I'm not opposed to minors giving consent and getting surgery so long as their doctor and guardian are on board. Again, I had major breast reduction and reconstruction at 14 and it was the best decision I made.

You're still anecdotally cherry picking those as the rule rather than the exception. No one is saying everyone should get this surgery and there's a reason there's a protocol for it. And there isn't a claim that it is 100% effective, because psychology is arguably holistic in nature, we can't just reduce it to one cause and fixate on that to fix the overall problems an individual may have

Is this all you have? Dismissive and derisive responses to things you dislike, but can't substantiate why beyond what seems like deep projection and insecurities? Why is it so upsetting that other people are being fulfilled and not fitting into the preferred norm you seem to want, which is them staying closeted and marginalized?

Women's clothes are not exclusive to women, you apparently just don't understand drag when you make such a demonstrably false claim and then show how sad and myopic your worldview is when you don't apparently like people having fun at all, or kids being exposed to something that's on the level of freaking clowns.

Have to wonder what was edited in your still untrue claims about drag shows. More cherry picked and out of context accusations from right wing pundits that fan the flames of your fears and insecurities about the world changing and you feeling somehow threatened even though I'm pretty sure you'd be a demographic majority as a cis hetero male

Would you have some opposition to a man dressed as a woman with gaudy makeup reading a children's book to children and then maybe doing some age appropriate child friendly activity like finger painting? Is that abusing them somehow? Is that making society less happy?

Seriously, substantiate the claims, it's not hard, unless you just flat out don't have any evidence that this is remotely some widespread situation versus you finding bad things and then acting like everyone claims those are okay. LGBTQ teens are at higher risk of killing themselves or even engaging in self harm, you treating them like they're freaks is not helping, it's pushing them further into harmful behaviors that only "benefit" those people who are already in the norm and also dislike the idea of actually coexisting with people different than them

I'll even give you a handicap: find a consistent pattern of children under 13 getting the transition surgery rather than adults over 18 getting it at any major hospital in the country, which would be well within permissions

Ironic too, TN, where Vanderbilt is, has a mature minor doctrine and depending on age and the nature of the treatment, a 14-18 year old may be quite protected in getting this treatment, albeit there'd likely be other concerns of abuse if the parents were denying this treatment and getting involved with, say, conversion therapy

Unfortunately a bat guano insane law was passed requiring parental permission for students to even learn about sex and gender identity related subjects, which ironically is MORE government overreach from the Republican party. I didn't have to get parental permission to take a basic health and wellness class in regards to admittedly more old fashioned ideas that didn't even remotely consider gender identity and barely addressed sex

To say nothing of a law also passed around that same time last year that bans gender confirming hormone treatment for prepubescent minors (which isn't done anyway and at best would likely be justified only for precocious puberty versus waiting until puberty in the first place)
