Total atomic annihilation?

Trump is mad, driven by narcissism and does not listen to rational advice from experts. He'd be catastrophically dangerous in this situation.

For a start, he would not care a damn about the fate of Ukraine. And we already know he does not care a damn about the fate of Europe.
If Europe had listened to Trump and reduced their dependence on Russian natural gas and oil the situation would be less dangerous. It was Biden's son Hunter that was on the Ukrainian Burisma board and got all that money. And it was Biden who bragged about getting a Ukrainian prosecutor fired.

Biden is screwing up the Ukraine just like he screwed up in Afghanistan. Attempts to deflect from that are repugnant.

So do you all think this will actually happen or not? I'm honestly pretty terrified because of all the talk about it.

No. Putin is ... well, he's a piece of work, but he's not an idiot. I don't doubt he knows full well what he is doing and what the response would be to using nuclear arms by the international community.

I'm far more concerned about the very real possibility that the United States is on the cusp of a revolution... and not the good sort of revolution. We've had a long line of bad decisions that are jeopardizing American ideals, culminating in half of the population loosing fundamental human rights. Yeah, no. Nope. There's certain lines you do not cross. Your government stops being by the people and for the people when you start calling it OK to only give the people fundamental human rights sometimes.

Hmm. I don't know, hasn't BLM phased through? I haven't heard of any recent riots (but then again I'm not up-to-date with the news so I'm probably wrong)

If he used nukes on Ukraine, the fallout would be blown back across Russia by the prevailing wind direction. So I think it's very unlikely that he would use them.
That would be the reasonable approach, but unreasonable, narcissistic, megalomaniacs are not always thinking of the common interests of The People. :(

Yes, but he doesn't actually launch any missiles, himself. And his military does not appear to be overly enthusiastic.

On the contrary, if Trump were President we probably wouldn't be on this precipice. But if we were he would be less likely to stumble into a war.
Trump's appointee General Milley didn't think so, which is why he told the Chinese that a preemptive attack by us is not going to be allowed by him and his staff.

What imaginary world are you living in? That's like saying "Biden causes sunspots". And "Biden's screwing up" has been supported by the majority of Pubs.

And while I'm at it, why can't Trump blame Putin for anything??? Even when set up by Hannity a few weeks ago, Trump couldn't say anything negative about his BFF. Why do you think this is, Saul?

Now mind you, I didn't and don't support what Biden and the Ukrainian leadership has been doing, as Putin's response, including his latest barrage of missile launches, was quite predictable. Instead, I think non-violence non-cooperation would have been a better alternative so as to save lives as governments do come & go.

General Milley is a partisan. There is no evidence that Trump would ever order a preemptive strike. He continued to "serve" under Trump leadership. If he truly felt this way he should have provided the evidence and done the honorable thing and resigned. Since he didn't he must not have really thought this was true. That or he is a hypocrite.

He should resign and let some other do what he wouldn't do? Wow, not much commitment to his beliefs then.

I interpret this as you saying you don't think Biden screwed up in Afghanistan.

I have been consistent in my posts as critical of Putin and Russian actions in the Ukraine. Go and read them. Furthermore Trump is not "BFF" with Putin. It is Democrats like Biden and the Clintons that have cozzied up with him for years and taken Putin's money. Putin's BFFs are in the Democrat Party.

Absolutely. Unless he resigned his continued service means he agreed to work for someone he (falsely) felt capable of a preemptive nuclear strike. Unless he is without integrity, a real possibility. He should have demanded the change needed or resigned and worked honestly to stop the Administration.

He's a Republican: Mark Milley - Wikipedia

There is no evidence that Trump would ever order a preemptive strike.
Obviously, he disagreed, so are you being so arrogant so as to supposedly know more than he what Trump's temperament was?

If he truly felt this way he should have rovided the evidence and done the honorable thing and resigned. Since he didn't he must not have really thought this was true. That or he is a hypocrite.
Obviously, you do not know what you're talking about.

That has 0 to do with what I posted, so how did you even get there?

Do you think most if not all of us are gonna die from nuclear war?

If Russia and the USA started nuking each other, how would the rest of the world fare?

All religious eschatology goes out the window if we all die.

Anyways, I wanted to get your guy's thoughts on this: is nuclear war going to happen?

It is a very real threat. I think a lot of people have it on the back burner of their mind. I mean, what can you do, right? I guess become a prepper.
Cancer. And birth to monstrous babies.

Clinton taking money for speeches from Russia, Biden and his son taking money from Russia via its then puppet regime in Ukraine, Obama/Biden/Hillary Clinton doing nothing when Putin took the Crimea. Remember the "reset button"?
