Luke 9:27 But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.”

This passage reeks of what I believe which is all of existence rises and falls with the birth and death of a certain man.

" Luke 9:27 "

I get that Jesus meant that he won't die a cursed death on the Cross and would migrate from Judea along-with Mary and other close disciples and his message from G-d would spread in the rest of Israelite tribes in exiles, right?

John (maybe others) would be immortal. Legends tell that John was banished because he kept not dying when they tried to kill him.

....

It happened about eight days after these sayings, that he took with him Peter, John, and James, and went up onto the mountain to pray. As he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became white and dazzling. Behold, two men were talking with him, who were Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory, and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, but when they were fully awake, they saw his glory, and the two men who stood with him.
Luke 9:28-32

What do you think, did they see the kingdom of God as said in the following part?

The transfiguration (Luke 9:28-36) showed that Jesus had God’s approval, and it was a foreview of his future glory and Kingdom power. It also served to fortify Christ for his sufferings and death, while it also comforted his followers and strengthened their faith. The disciples saw, in effect, the “Son of man coming in his kingdom,” just as Jesus had promised a week earlier. (Luke 9:27) After Jesus’ death, Peter wrote about having “…become eyewitnesses of his magnificence,… while we were with him in the holy mountain.” (2 Peter 1:16-18) It also indicates the future importance of the presence of Christ, when his kingly authority would be complete.
