As y'all may know I was banned on my request so i wouldnt be online while starting my new job. Well I wasn't going to return this early. But I can't access the WiFi at the daycare and I have no mobile data. I can't buy any mobile data for a few weeks. So there's no point in being banned I'd need internet for RF and I won't have that at the daycare for at least a few weeks. Might as well be able to go on here when im off work.
So how has the job gone? Well my job title is a floater so I work wherever I'm needed. Right now I've been working with the two year olds. So far I love it. It is stressful at times being in a room with 18 two year olds but it's a good kind of stress. My job coach can't go to the daycare with me because she hasn't had a background check through the DCDEE. So now she has to virtually coach me or talk in person when I'm off work. I've given her updates on my progress through text. My boss will also give her updates. I've been told by my coworker im doing ok so far. I come in right at nap time so I watch them and try to help some the kids fall asleep. Then once nap time's over we go outside and play. Then we go inside to get a snack(it was the first two days the kids got a snack first then went outside but on Friday the daycare decided to do it where we go outside then feed them instead from now on.) Then we go back inside I then watch them play or dance to music and then the kiddos leave. Most the kids are well behaved tho one tries to hit,kick, and bite me when I try to stop him from climbing stuff. I'd get between him and what he trying to climb and he gets aggressive. But that's typical two year old behavior so we trying to work on him with that and try to get him to stop trying to fight and stop trying to climb stuff. It don't make me mad. Still a good kid. I enjoy working with the kids thus far in fact I kinda miss the daycare cuz I'm off work today and tomorrow and am looking forward to Monday. I got to do a training online today. The kids seem to like me many of them keep running up to me trying to get me to play with them or in some cases comfort them(at least one cries constantly she's new to the daycare started going the same day I did). I have decided to no longer where my headscarf the kids can't snatch off cuz the scarf is attached to my head and when the kid tries to pull it off it chokes me a bit. I'll now be wearing short headscarves that can come off so to avoid that safety hazard. I'll teach the two year olds not to pull it. Anyway that's how the job is going.
