Solution to homosexuals is by government executions according to Pastor.

Person A: hello how are you?
Person B: fine thanks for asking
Person B: I'm gay
Person A: <confused> (did I ask him for your sexual orientation?) <confused>
Person A: OK, good for you

? What was the point of this? We (The LGBTQIA community) often don't tell people for fear of violence and rejection.

I always wondered why do gay people dress and talk like girls? and even take a makeup etc.
I mean, I can understand that there is same sex attraction, but why being girlish?
And yet another burst of complete ignorance. The fact is that the vast majority of gay people do nothing of the kind.

I may be censured by Mods for saying this, but I think you should make at least a tiny effort at learning something about the topic you take some delight in pontificating on.

That was completely insulting and derogatory to very many people -- myself included. I do not dress or talk like a girl. I wear men's clothes. I am masculine in all my behaviours and even at my age could probably take you on in a fist fight.

I mean it ----- that was an insulting, ignorant, stupid post.

Ever owned dogs? They screw anything

She was going on a rant about how gay is unnatural then her male dog walked up to another male dog and started humping them. Even the dog thought that argument was stupid. I can assure you that dog had been around plenty of female dogs but screwed both male and female dogs the same.

Dogs will screw your leg too. It's a dominance thing.

By the way I had to laugh at these two successive sentences.

They screw anything .... My ex pastor did. :D

You might try actually reading the articles you link. Unless it's too much trouble, of course, in which case you can just assume they say what you want them to. (Hint: they don't.)

The irony is, the post I made of several dozen articles was literally the reference list off that wikipedia article, and I got it by following his link.

Why would I have to know anything about gay people?

We live in free world of democracy, why would I have to act as if I like someone? or as if I must accept someones point of view?
Are you going to deny my freedom of expression?
And there it is -- in a nutshell!

Why would you want to know anything about a subject that you are engaged in making categorical statements about in public? Usually, so that you don't look like an idiot.

At least, that's why most of us try to have some knowledge of topics we're talking about.

Yeah i know. It's also a hormone thing. When a female dog goes into heat for instance they might start humping stuff anything really not cuz of dominance but cuz well they hormonal and horny.

I think you've been influenced by the Christian use of the word, which, of course, is chosen to promote Christianity, where pride generally means rebellion against god, the way it describes the failure to submit to its dicta. It is always a sin.
That's how it was when I was a Christian. I'm still recovering, but have noted time and time again that it feels great acknowledging my own achievements and what I've done and not giving all or any glory and thanks to Jehovah. It also feels great having your ego stroked, even better not trying to downplay it and dismiss it but instead basking in it.

Person A: hello how are you?
Person B: fine thanks for asking
Person B: I'm gay
Person A: <confused> (did I ask him for your sexual orientation?) <confused>
Person A: OK, good for you
I've been with both. I very much enjoy giving oral to either.
Is it excessive pride for me to say I do have a very high IQ, I graduated college with honors, I've had my art on display in a gallery and my hair is awesome?
I'm also an apostate, going from being very deeply devoted to an equally opposed enemy. Is that too much pride? To say I have sent proslylitizers away embarrassed for not knowing the Bible as well as I do?

Pastor says "solution" to gay people is executions: It's in the Bible

Wow.

Is it me, or is there an unusual amount of hate going on in Christianity today?

It's becoming mainstream in the Evangelical faction. To be expected, but what's worrying
is other supposedly moderate Xians don't rebuke/reject them.

EDIT: FYI
A 2014 Pew Research Center survey of religious life in the United States identified the evangelical percentage of the population at 25.4 percent, while Roman Catholics were 20.8 percent and mainline Protestants were 14.7 percent.

So Evangelicals outnumber 'mainline' 25% to 15% so if they ever achieve the Xian Nationalism
as the want, no one will oppose them, and it's Fascism in our future.

As long as it stays as words I'll defend the right to expression of opinions even hateful one's.

If it goes beyond words then I'm with accountability on conditions there is undeniable and clear evidences and that includes Trump believe it or not.

It is not ok or even legal to incite other people to do illegal acts. Freedom of speech does not cover it.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
It is not ok or even legal to incite other people to do illegal acts. Freedom of speech does not cover it.
That depends on what actually happens and the circumstances and conditions.

I'm vehemently against totalitarian measures to control any speech by authoritarians on a 'what if' basis.

That's more dangerous than any hate group or person out there.
