Hated TV commercials

As an American TV viewer, few things irritate me as much as "American Part C Advantage" commercials.
I am spared, as not only do I not live in the USA, but I don't have a TV at all, hooray!

My current pet hate ad is an internet ad for something called "Grammarly", which I think is some kind of spelling and grammar checking software that always seems to pop up when I'm trying to listen to choral music on YouTube. The voiceover woman has that special sing-song American accent that manages to be ever-so-friendly but simultaneously fake and patronising, assuming, as she does, that I can't write properly in my own damned language.

I did however start a thread here recently on the one ad I've come across that I actually look forward to seeing: the rather sweet and lovely Lucia - who has actually appeared again as I type this: Floral Spot Print Puff Sleeve Dress in Black - Roman Originals UK

What are commercials?

Seriously. I have AdBlocker, YouTube Premium, Twitch Turbo a handful of other ad-free streaming services and I almost never watch a commercial. Sure, I have a few antennas for live TV but I watch antenna TV once every three months for about three minutes. A commercial comes on and I turn it off.

I don't have the patience for commercials. When I go to the store I already know what I want to buy and I'm flexible on trying new things. Every two months or so I change my hygiene products. The best thing a company can do to advertise is put their product in the aisle where I can easily find it. Deodorants seem to be arranged with the best ones on top, so I get those, even if they are more expensive.

I don't go to my TV to buy things. I go to my TV to watch entertainment. Why should we cross those? If they invested less money on advertisements they can spend more money making their product worth buying.

This is a horrible commercial.
Caution: After it ends, someone makes a profane (but very appropriate) comment.

I have not had to see any of those.

I have missed the most grounded person here which is you, in my opinion.

The truth will prevail...hoping!

I can't stand those liberty insurance commercials and lately those stupid cheetos commercials.

Also it's time for Flo to go. Kill her off writers.

Wait....some people are AC or DC.
Are you saying that he's neither....he's "ground"?
Oh, that's harsh.

I like how those auto commercials where you speed and drive recklessly with small print saying professional driver do not attempt.

Well what's the bloody point then?

I hate the commercial for a convenience store/gas station (maybe 7-11???) that’s frequently playing during sports and features a character made up of convenience store “food.” He’s literally made up of burgers and hot dogs and candy bars and chips, etc. It represents so many things wrong with America, including our food processing and eating habits. It’s no wonder so many Americans are grossly obese and dying.
