Well, it appears that my pelvis is in the process of separating (sympysis pubis separation). The doctor says there isn't much to be done. This happens sometimes and it won't get better before the baby is out. I need to rest as much as possible around caring for my toddler, avoid heavy lifting, treat the pain with tylenol and then maybe it won't fully rupture. If I don't voluntarily restrict my movement now, I could end up completely immobilized before the birth which is unacceptible. There is also a risk of premature labor because of this and the contractions have increased in frequency (I'm in week 30 out of 40 now).

I am due May 23 and I sincerely doubt that I will be late. I will send my husband to post an announcement when our little girl arrives and give out the points from the contest I just started, if I am unable. I hope to be able to check in now and again and give updates, but it doesn't seem too likely.

I'll miss you all! Take care! Goodbye. :flower:

Best wishes eveareal! Prayers for everything to go well and a healthy happy delivery!

Leonnie, I have just seen this; you make sure you take great care of both yourself and that precious little bundle you are carrying.

I'll be thinking of you, and (if I may) I'll say prayers for you both. Yopu know that you are loved here, and mean a lot to us. Take great care, and remember to get your very lucky husband to post the pics when baby decides to make an appearance!!! :flower:

Thank you all for your kind wishes! It's hard to stay away, but I need to rest... especially because of the heightened risk of preterm labor. I'm slowly but surely learning how much activity I am able to do without pain and I've had to relearn how to complete simple tasks to avoid excess stress and further injury. I'm hopeful that I can avoid a complete rupture, but it is out of my hands so I'm trying not to worry too much over it. My little Fiona is kicking up a storm, so I am certain she is well. Thank you once more for all your prayers and warm wishes. I'll try to give updates as I am able and as I have news. Take care. :flower:

Hope you are able to rest enough to get over this thing. Good luck and I'll be sending lots of positive energy your way.
