And Roe v. Wade hits the dirt.

If all women thought that way the human race would be facing extinction.

Simply false. Many women *want* to have children. Others do not. it should be their *choice*.

Enough people want to have children that the human race won't go extinct even if everyone *supports* the right to *choose*.

it seems that you want to *force* women who don't want to have children to have them. How is that a good thing for anyone?

What if all women decided to be lesbians?
Or became engineers instead of mothers?
You of all people (being familiar with probability & statistics)
should know that they could indeed all make the same choice.
Humans would become extinct!

Lesbians can still be mothers. Sexual orientation doesn’t preclude pregnancy.

Who knows, maybe the earth would celebrate humans collectively deciding to remove ourselves from existence.

No one is forcing them to have sex, in 99.9 percent of the cases. Killing a human being for convenience is morally repugnant.
What "convenience" are you talking about? And no one is talking about killing a human being. We are talking about eliminating an embryo or early fetus. Being a human being involve more than just genetics.

And most use some sort of birth control, but that often fails. it is morally repugnant to force someone to carry a pregnancy if they don't want to.

Again, NOBODY has the *right* to live inside of another person.

Or is the *real* issue that people are having sex that you disapprove of? or that women want to control their own bodies?

I doubt we'll do that, but reducing our population would probably be in the interests of all living things. Maybe nature is already giving us a hand in that regard.

According to two recent polls I've seen, by a 3:1 margin Americans feel that such a decision should be between a woman and her doctor.

BTW, why is it that these supposed "conservatives" want "big government" that they used to decry make the decision for the women?

You seem upset that sex isn't necessarily for reproduction. We are one of a few species that has sex for pleasure. Otherwise, women would just go into heat, like most female mammals.
What? I enjoy sex, I assure you. And I think animals do also.
That doesn't negate our responsibility if it results in a child.

It's almost always about convenience. And killing a human being is exactly what you are doing.

Then no baby has the right to exist and the whole of human history has been a lie.
Sigh.

You are right. No baby has a right to exist before it is born. Now, for a late stage pregnancy, we can argue that an induced labor and delivery is a valid option to remove the fetus from the body of the woman.

And many people disagree with that claim. Until about 6 months of pregnancy, there is not enough brain functioning to give the fetus any rights. Personhood is defined by brain activity.
