Stranger things

So the new season just came :D

Have only watched a couple of episodes, but it seems very cool. Anyone else looking forward to this?

For those that doesn't know it, if you like stuff that are weird, supernatural and dark then I would highly recommend it. It is not a horror, but have some elements of it in a cool way. And it is very well acted in my opinion.

Oh man. I binge watched all the 3 seasons back in 2020. Now after a two year gap i've forgotten some of the things that took place in the last season and since i don't even have netflix i'll try and grab some pirated copies once the whole season comes out. Steve Harrington better not chop off his mullet. He's my favourite. :=)

I'd watch it but unfortunately we do not have Netflix. :(

You could just get it for 1 month and try it out.

But honestly the price they are asking for how much they offer is really low.

Just some of the series that are worth a watch, obviously depending on the types of stuff you like to see, but these are some of the things I like at least:

Stranger things
Ozark
Godless (Its not about religion, but a cowboy serie :))
Dark (Strange multidimension thing)
Altered carbon
Katla
Black summer
Kingdom

Really cool documentaries as well.

I never got Netflix because we pay so much for cable TV now and I don't even have time to watch half of what is aired. Usually I only watch true crime shows like Dateline and Forensic files and I only recently discovered the Smithsonian channel because someone posted a video on here. For crime dramas I like Law & Order.

Well I used to have cable TV, but the stuff they show is so bad that I don't think it is worth it. I still have the national channels for news etc. As they are "free/forced". But the rest is nothing but repeats and commercials in the middle of the movies or just reality shows.

So I dropped the cable and got HBO and Netflix instead and its a lot cheaper.

I believe I pay a total of 20$ a month for both of these, which is not really a lot compared to what I had to pay for the cable. And you can bring it everywhere as well and watch on your phone or tablet and just send it to your TV, which is very cool.

That's true that there is not much that is worth watching on cable TV and most of it has commercials and I hate commercials, so we try to record some shows and speed through the commercials when we can, it depends upon the platform.

Since we have to have cable for the internet and phone lines we have xfinity triple play so we would not save that much if we dropped the TV package. It is kind of expensive but nothing like our electric bill! We hardly pay anything for our cell phones, only 20 dollars a month for two cell phones, so that offsets the large cable bill.
