Ask Angellous one question to make him think about something before he goes to bed.

whi is there a pic of a grandpas guitar on your avatar?

Too easy.

That's not grandpa's guitar, it's my beloved Martin D-18 that I play for grandpa. We're both into hill-billy rock. He plays harmonica, I play guitar and sometimes sing.

We're going fishing next weekend.

EDIT: I have the guitar as my avatar because I always wish I were playing.

Strats are great guitars... I hope to pick one up someday. I prefer acoustic because I don't need an amp to make it sound good. On the other hand, the eletric can produce a lot of variety. It's better to master both. :D

Off to bed.

What is the most challenging course you've taken outside your religious studies and what made it so difficult?

It's a tie for two:

Intro to NT and Intro to OT. Both were designed to introduce doctoral students to the state of research for the entire Old Testament and New Testament.

The intro to NT course was a hazing class designed to shock and awe a new class of students.

The intro to OT was a year later - it was difficult because I'm not so great at Hebrew and we had to work through Jeremiah.

Both classes required two papers, and a PhD paper takes about 200-250 hours of work, maybe more.

Ha! I missed that!

Learning German was the most challenging course outside of religious studies. It was a hazing course - 8 hours a day for 8 weeks. Absolutely awful.

If you could sit and talk to anybody in the world from any time period who would it be and why?
If you could travel back into time is there anybody you would ask to make a different choice then they did? (I hope that makes sense lol) And if so why would you?

My list is rather long... but I think that I would give up just about anyone to talk with Ghandi. He'd have little use for me, but I'd like to be in the presence of his magnificent grace.

If I could go back in time, I would bring back the 1985 sports almanac, give it to myself, and bet on the winners. I'd use the money to run away with Mrs A_E, open a vineyard, and get drunk and have as many kids as I could.

Here's a question before i go to bed.

Could God grow a beard so long that even He could trip over it?

If he could, he could set it beside his four sided triangle, three-wheeled bicycle, and spherical square.

If God loves Angellous as much as me, the afterlife is going to be downright wonderful.
