Are Republicans Against Contraception?

What weirds me out is that politicians never or seldom speak/advertise contraception...
I mean...birth control pills and condoms can reduce the rate of unwanted pregnancies so all this commotion about abortion would be less annoying...
:p

Actually, the majority of what places like Planned Parenthood do is supply women with education and contraception materials. Less than 5% of their budget goes to providing abortions.
As far as Dems vs Pugs go: Dems are consistently pro-sex education, and providing services like Planned Parenthood, so that unwanted pregnancies are reduced, and by doing so the number of abortions are greatly reduced. Pugs are just naive and preadolescent about science and real life statistics, so they yell “No! No! No!” as they vote against what is needed.

We have the start of the right being against contraception here in the US because it makes sex solely between a man and a woman in holy matrimony less attractive.

I can tell you an anecdote about "conservative parents".
When I was a kid, I had this schoolmate, Simona.
Her mom was super, super liberal and modern.
She used to speak, with us, of things which were a bit "over the top" for kids.

It turns out she was obsessed with sex...and her daughter became more and more annoyed...with her mother's obsession. Her mother used to buy her the birth control pill...but she didnt even have a boyfriend yet..she was not that lucky with guys.

Years later there was the rumor she had never had sex...ans she was in college.

So...I think that teenagers have sex probably because their parents make sex a taboo. And they want to break the rules...

Bill Maher is the epitome of self-righteous bigotry. I thoroughly dislike that tool.
I've only seen a few snippets of him in video. I've never seen any of his content not really. This is the first time I've even learnt the guys name. How bad is he?

I find him bigoted, self-righteous, prone to overgeneralizations, and hypocritical. Posting videos or links to elaborate on that would probably derail this thread, though, so I'll leave it at that.

Everybody hates him, the right, the left, women, men, trans people, the religious, .... because he makes fun of them and his snark is strong.

Is that why the most horny girls are from the all girls Catholic schools?

He comes up in my youtube videos. I get his short 'New Rule' clips, which usually are funny. He calls himself an 'Old school liberal' and says he didn't move to the right. The left moved further left and the right moved further right. So he doesn't like the new more newer mega feminist positions of the left; but he is still pro choice, pro gay rights etc. I think his longer segments are a bit more boring than his 'New rule' segments; but I have a short attention span. Other people may have more patience.
