Gilgamesh and Noah have long been linked. One of the best theories about it is that the flood was the result of waters in the Mediterranean finally spilling over the lowland dame formed by the Bosphorus. This occured about 5600 B.C. and the flood covered 60,000 square miles of land.
The catastrophe of this monumental proportion would surely live on in the memory and folkstales of the time and probably cause the popular Biblical story of Noah and the Flood.

Mate, what's your point? What exactly are you trying to achieve by posting the roots of words as if that that makes the answers you get any less valid?
You ask people what is the language of god, they've given you their answers. We all know what 'language' is and as we're speaking in English which is a living and therefore constantly evolving language, the strict root definition of a word doesn't strictly define what the word means now.
Also, there are flood myths in every mythology, why would you think the flood of Noah and the Babylonian flood being the same incident would be some sort of revelation? You ask people what is the language of god, they've given you their answers. We all know what 'language' is and as we're speaking in English which is a living and therefore constantly evolving language, the strict root definition of a word doesn't strictly define what the word means now.
Also, there are flood myths in every mythology, why would you think the flood of Noah and the Babylonian flood being the same incident would be some sort of revelation? Or in fact, threatening in any way or proving any sort of a point to anyone? It is the language God used to create the Earth, and the language Adam used to communicate with God and the Angels until he fell from grace and God asked why Adam no longer knew his language! Heck even Showtimes Penny Dreadful knew the correct history! Lol
