Religion, War and the Bible

I hate war but it’s hard not to think about it. Ever since Russia invaded the Ukraine, war is everywhere in the news and in our thoughts.

I’ve seen a few clips here and there of religious leaders on both sides supporting their country against the enemy. In this case against people who are mostly of the same religion.

Do people really think that Jesus would encourage humans to wage war against each other? I had a look at the Bible and this is what he said: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:39) “Continue to love your enemies.”—Matthew 5:44-47.

There are many examples in the past of religion condoning and even encouraging wars – the Crusades, the tribal genocides in certain African countries, etc. All wars have catastrophic results, with many innocent lives lost and the future of many others destroyed. So, this begs the question: should religions support war? In particular religions that claim to follow Christ, who was clearly a peace maker.

Wars will be on this earth until the Anointed One (Christ) returns to "begin" the war that seems to end all wars (Rev. 19:11-21 & Mk. 13:7-8)…So, there is nothing we can do related to wars or conflicts between nations. Sure, nations can try to negotiate the problems between themselves, but this only works through strength. So, it only makes sense that nations have some way to defend themselves or they will just become subjects of others. James 4:1-3 pretty-much outlines the causes of war! Even so, after the first millennium of God's Kingdom upon this earth, the Adversary will be released and deceive a number as the sands of the sea (Rev. 20:7-9). Then, wars will end…

So, what about the meaning of Matt. 5:44-47 (Love your enemies)? Well, the Greek term enemies seems to be related to those opposing the Supreme Being, even the devil. Matthew 22:39 seems to be addressing: friends and any member of the nation of Israel. Therefore, these two set of verses can be controlled individually. But, would have no bearing on wars against nations. Note: These statements are my opinions and should be understood only in that context.

There are both words of peace and words of war in the Bible.

"Out of the mouth of the most high proceedeth not evil and good?". Lamentations.


To understand the spear, the sword, and the bow, is to understand the corn, the oil, and the wine.

The Oil is of the Olive tree. The Olive brings down the high (Wine) and it lifts up the low (Corn).

The sword of Jesus is also the Olive branch.

In my opinion.

To understand the good in the Bible is to also understand the evil in the Bible.
To know both good and evil.

The ways of the spearmen, swordsmen, and bowmen.
And the ways of the farmers.

In the fields, the oliveyards, and the vineyards.
Growing the grain (corn), the olives, and the grapes.

Making the bread, the oil, and the wine.

So eat the bread and drink the wine.
Or eat the flesh of man and drink his blood.

The bread is the flesh, and the wine is the blood.

As the oil is the bones.


The sword of Jesus brings down the high (Blood), and it lifts up the low (Flesh).

The sword of Jesus is a sword that makes the flesh and blood go back to the bones.

In my opinion.

To know the ways of war and peace in the Bible is to also know the ways of the moon, the stars, and the sun.

They are connected.


"The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear". Habakkuk.


The sun and moon are in fixed positions with bow and spear.

In my opinion.

I'm a human. I've always been species one species a human.

No scientist liar thinker existed. When human's were holy and spiritual.

Then a human word coercer began talking about building a machine. That had never existed anywhere.

Who says today words are hidden.

In logic conscious human says you write so many words and books about your man's thoughts there's so many words you can't think about all at once.

They aren't hidden...so why do you keep non stop lying?

And we know they think they are holo grams as they confessed.

Once that type of human confession was used as proof they had lost use of natural human consciousness. Today too many humans agree.

So we read from a book named the bible of past human confessions to see if it correlated to life sacrificed now and early age dying as warnings.

We're being destroyed. Yet you don't.

Instead theists say if I find the correlation I can do it by new computer satellite programs myself. As theses.

Which is named a confession you're supposed to notice is being expressed and believed as a human's life changed warning. Behaviour.

As you seem to ignore the Jesus life attacked wasn't meant to happen it only occurred as liars...humans ignored the old testimonials
