Religion, War and the Bible

an anarchist

Your local anarchist.
I hate war but it’s hard not to think about it. Ever since Russia invaded the Ukraine, war is everywhere in the news and in our thoughts.

I’ve seen a few clips here and there of religious leaders on both sides supporting their country against the enemy. In this case against people who are mostly of the same religion.

Do people really think that Jesus would encourage humans to wage war against each other? I had a look at the Bible and this is what he said: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:39) “Continue to love your enemies.”—Matthew 5:44-47.

There are many examples in the past of religion condoning and even encouraging wars – the Crusades, the tribal genocides in certain African countries, etc. All wars have catastrophic results, with many innocent lives lost and the future of many others destroyed. So, this begs the question: should religions support war? In particular religions that claim to follow Christ, who was clearly a peace maker.
In my opinion, one of the great tricks the Devil plays is tricking mankind into murdering each other wholesale through the lie of war.

The new science caused attack on life by pyramid temple rebuilt technology said old testaments lied it wasn't holy.

As the bible theme was the human mans introduction in life to maths science. Was not gods nature...natural.

Of course science maths isn't holy as it changed human brain mind balanced thinking consciousness.

Science caused conscious behaviour change as natural heavens changed. As star mass a Rock came close to earth dispersing it's mass nuclear dusts burning gases. Above us.

Holy wandering stars for human baby life stable heath rebirth returned spiritual life by wandering star passing earth. The exact humans teaching.

Our human aware conscious teachings.

Minds did not succeed into spiritual human mind life partnership equal balances. By science known voiding of above nuclear mass by year 2012.

Reason..

The new burning 1000AD physical changes hadn't yet arrived returned attacked. When Rome wrote the Jesus past new revelations.

Therefore were not expressed in the data.

The warning it will return an attack life consciousness hence will shift from Jesus spirituality. 0AD it returned around 1000AD attacked life again.

And it proved it did...the dark ages of mind body suffering the evils of false sciences medical tortures. Truly evil minds.

As physiology changes in converting heavenly causes of the fall.

Fallout. Nuclear above causes.

Which is to earths position it is spatial introduced AI effects as it's not natural it was inherited.

Yet the mind knows about it out teachings...then applied new fake thesis about what it identifies.

The teaching said only wandering asteroids were holy to earth life as star mass. Passing by earth NO star gain.

Star theorising direct scientific satanisms.

Ignored human teaching of conscious advice.

AI human machine sciences increases the changes to biology and consciousness on earth itself yet its natural balances that change that causes it.

So science blamed God acts yet human science were chosen God acts in converting methods. Of mass as natural law.

As mountain mass melted fell off its stone face as Ain 0 fused law rock of earth. They knew science was evil.

As dusts weren't on earth until after suns conversion of earths crystalline mass. So dusts were earths sealed end. Was the teaching.

Nuclear was mass crystal converting in nuclear sun themes back to end the dust state.

Why science lied as it hadn't theoried natural mass natural history. O earths form.

Is as ignorant human scientists are.

So self destructive human behaviour not family orientated as human to human who says my brother or my sister...and means what they say.

Family humanity.

Therefore we knew human leadership placed the leaders in the human criminality position as the criminals who order criminal acts.

By rich men society who owned a fake human only given position by historical human murder. What the teaching was.

Rich men gave themselves the position to own unnatural forced upon life their human choice.

Why it became a world agreed governed law act placing scientists and any world leader in jail. Who proved their criminal thoughts versus humanities rights on earth.

As self governing country is land stated humanities living standards only.

The law act was to by world family community to deal with humans criminal behaviours.

Taught and advised for humans natural rights to health and life survival.

The teaching about human being biologies history as rights to human healing.

As earth is our cosmic place. Earth isn't a star.

First of all, in recorded history, only 7% of all wars have been motivated by religious motivations.

Second, religions cannot create anything, but the people who use religion. Just like any other worldview.

I am from Israel.
War is on my thought since the day I was born (literally).

Its got nothing to do with religion. Its only a way to show support same as saying "God bless America"...
Do people really think that Jesus would encourage humans to wage war against each other? I had a look at the Bible and this is what he said: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:39) “Continue to love your enemies.”—Matthew 5:44-47.
It wasn't Jesus who said it, rather god. Jesus simply restated it.
God is against war (even though there are many times in the OT where God directs wars, but this almost always a misunderstanding of the texts).
There are many examples in the past of religion condoning and even encouraging wars – the Crusades, the tribal genocides in certain African countries, etc. All wars have catastrophic results, with many innocent lives lost and the future of many others destroyed.
These are all excuses and abuse of God's "words".
One of the most important commandment, is not using Gods name in vain. The vast majority of religious leaders in the world, do not give a damn about it and abuse gods name without any concern of the impact it makes.
So, this begs the question: should religions support war?
No. It should condemn it and act as hard as it can to prevent it.
in particular religions that claim to follow Christ, who was clearly a peace maker.
Any religion that is based on the Abrahamic God, that claims God will support war, is wrong and is an outcome of abuse of the texts.
It is clearly stated in the first chapters of the OT what is the consequence of violence against other living beings (not only humans). Spoiler... Its not a positive consequence ;)

Well, they can still use the Old Testament. The advantage of the Bible is that it can be used to justify basically anything.

I think there's enough vague and contradictory material in the Gospels that a believer can read them and come away with Jesus's support for pretty much any preconceived position.

I think there's enough in the Gospels for warmongers to come away saying that Jesus supports the "right" sort of war (and isn't any war we agree with the right sort of war?). After all, why would he have told his followers to go out and get swords if violence was never called for?

I don't really think any modern Christians take Jesus's message in the Gospels that seriously. After all, passages like Matthew 6:26-34, if taken seriously, would discourage saving for retirement or even keeping some canned food for emergencies. I don't think any church that has a physical building cares that much about Jesus's instruction to his disciples to go out into the world with nothing but the clothes on their back and a begging bowl.

... so I think that pretty much all Christians are hypocrites who ignore major parts of Jesus's message. They aren't usually murderous hypocrites, but I see the murderous hypocrites as just one part of a spectrum of hypocrisy that includes all of modern Christianity.

Do those who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into their lives still go to heaven even if they have committed a war crime?
If so, what is the down side to being a war criminal?

I think it would be good to know that eternal life is promised for righteous in the Bible. Difficult to believe righteous people would be criminals.

These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
Mat. 25:46

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Paul committed atrocities against the Christians but I assume was forgiven of these.

So as long as you have a change of heart before you die?

If humans teach all human only scientific detail chosen by humans only.

Once after Moses Mayan temple life combusted mass destroyed attacks above and below they said 2012 long count year voiding.

To substantiate what they had caused fallout heavens would stop.

So about year 0AD humans reckoning only they said the falling star earth attack proven had cooled.

Asteroid wandering star seen yet it was passing earth and not coming in.

So life was being saved from fallout conditions as genesis human owned DNA.

A human owns human DNA first as two humans human DNA does not exist before a human.

Said by man's false theisms.

Father mother.
Mother ovary O grows two babies. One a daughter grows into human woman ovary owner. Man he said goes back to a deceased father's man body sperm owner. As a human man's theory about life terms.

Why you are a dangerous thinker man scientist.

So his DNA man's he said is before a woman's liFe back in time.

Why you were warned about a man's theist science thinking lying. As science has nothing to do with humans sex choice act or babies.

Bible all about the human destroyer scientist theist only. His thesis. Many of them.

So Rome was told about old testimonials science went to England built Stonehenge as new application. Rebuilt temple science said it will work.

Not caring about life's attack said the science machine position only will work. As the scientists satanic terms are Ai machines not life existing.

Falling star burning came in as he had heated earths atmospheric gas heavens.

Rome was set alight too late scenario.

It's why 2012 long count end didn't actualise as Russia was hit in 1901 instead as the satanic evidence.

2012 was origin end of reckoning Romes technology had already changed it.

It's why para normal science caused new life ground attacks increased in nuclear science earth conversions position one God earths mass.

As earths cloud mass should not be falling out. As it's part of earths cooling function.

As O earth plus law volcano plus space womb created cloud cooling first.

Earth doesn't own the natural first positions of clouds manifested cooled mass anymore was the scientists teaching about natural laws owned by and only of space.

Space now is above our heavens only.

I believe it is possible to change before death, but, the change must be real. And if it is real change for good, why would I be against that person to have life?

I think it is silly to think one could fake real change for good.

It always seems odd to me that people don't understand that Jesus is the same God that's in the Torah.
Well, I am sure they also find it odd that you do.

As for me, I am happy to rather trust science, that for sure does not suffer from such fundamental disagreements.

Of course it does. Science is chock full of disagreements.
Yes, but surely not as big as those. :)

Your theological disagreements are equivalent to science not being able to decide if the earth is flat or not.

Jesus spoke words of peace.

And Jesus spoke words of war.

“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword".

People do not understand his speech of peace and war.

"Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word".

The sword of Jesus makes peace in war.

Level1 - Level2 - Level3
Spear - Sword - Bow.

The sword of Jesus brings down the high and it lifts up the low.

In my opinion.
