Is Jesus God?

So you ask ..Is Jesus..God.
In the book of
Revelation 1:8,.
Jesus Christ saying of himself
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, Saith the Lord, Which is, and which was .and which is to come, the Almighty"

The meaning of this is..
Jesus Christ which is now, and which was at the beginning, and which is to come in his second coming to the Earth..

John 1:1..."and the word was God."
It does not say the word was God and Jesus. Jesus said he does not create the words and teaches only what God tells him to teach. Jesus would have no knowledge of any words unless he is taught just like we are taught. The Word, all knowledge belongs only to God. Jesus receives some of that knowledge, not all of it. The Father is God and only God is to be worshipped. Jesus leads us to God if we are willing to listen, but only God judges if we receive resurrection or not.

Many men were called gods. This was a title of respect or power.Like My Lord.

John 10:34 New American Standard Bible
Jesus answered them, "Has it not been written in your Law, 'I SAID, YOU ARE GODS '?

Even Moses was called a God.

Exodus 7:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, "See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.

Jesus might have been called a god, or God by some translations, but the truth of the matter is that he was not God the Almighty.Jesus is never referred to as the Almighty.Only the supreme being can hold that title.

Jesus was called Mighty God.Never Almighty God.

Isaiah 9:6New International Version (NIV)
6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

It never says ALMIGHTY GOD.

Mighty
:possessing great and impressive power or strength, esp on account of size:

Almighty:having complete power; omnipotent:God almighty.
Jesus was called many things he opposed including king and son of David. People worshipped Jesus but he did not accept that worship. People wanted to define Jesus to fit their terms and beliefs not what Jesus explains to people that he actually is..
Jesus taught separate government and religion. Give to the secular ruler what belongs to him, taxes and obedience to secular laws. Give to God what belongs to God, worship and love with obedience to religious laws like love all people that Jesus shows us are God's laws. Jesus taught shoulder your own government to be established with righteous laws for the benefit of all people with equal rights, none exalted above another, none on a throne.

May I ask you a question about Revelation 1:1? Who sent the angel to John?
Jesus Christ, son of God, is not the firstborn of the dead. Jesus is the firstborn creation of God that has no human father but does have a human mother.
Lazarus was resurrected before Jesus was so it can not mean the first to be reborn after dying.
To be born of the dead means the dead gave birth to this man. This is an Antichrist that claims to be the Christ Jesus just like Jesus warns will happen. This is the prince of kings that Jesus said is coming with nothing in him, certainly no truth or mercy. He claims to win war to establish a kingdom to get people to fight for him.. There are fallen angels .

Revelation 1 is all about Jesus. Rev. 1:8 tells us Jesus is the Lord God Almighty. It is Jesus who is coming. Nowhere does the Bible say Jehovah is coming. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the first and last. It is Jesus who is coming, Jesus who was pierced and Jesus who every eye will see in Rev. 1:7. The NWT is corrupt, adding Jehovah where it doesn't appear in any Greek manuscript.
Kings and military leaders are called Lord in the Bible. Sarah even called her husband Abraham, "Lord" . Jesus accepted the word Lord not as a king, or a military leader because he refused to be either of those, but as an advanced teacher. When the word Lord is used it often means a man on a throne ruling as a Lord as did king David. In rev 1:5 there are 2 different men claiming to be Jesus and the first one speaks unto which means to the other one that claims blood washes away sin. This is the Pauline Christ, a son of David, not the Son of God Christ that commands believe in water baptism for sin removal. The Antichrist tells the Christ Paul invented with his own interpretation of Christ, how war will unfold.
Revelation chapter one reveals the Antichrist that claims to be Jesus Christ and claims he is a son, prince, of kings. Jesus is not a prince of kings under their service in war.
Jesus refused to allow people to worship him so it is not what Jesus wants if people call him a God.

I hate to break it to you – Jesus is NOT God – NEVER WAS, NEVER IS, and NEVER WILL BE.

Common sense should tell you anyone who said he came not to do his will but to do the Will of God who sent him (John 6:38) CANNOT be God himself. Likewise, an Army General who took a pledge to obey the commands and the will of his Commander-in-Chief who had sent him to the battlefield cannot be the Commander-in-Chief himself!

The Book of Revelation was authored by John and you will find only John had implied or made claims Jesus is God – you will not find such claims from Mark, Luke, or Matthew. It would be highly unlikely that Mark, Luke, and Matthew would have missed such an important and astonishing claim, that is, IF Jesus had really claimed he was the first and the last (Alpha and Omega) as to mean he is God.

Common sense isn't always enough to understand God. As he says my thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways. And the scripture says "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?"

God can in fact send out his own Spirit as in Psalm 104:30 disproving any idea that God can't send himself.

Agree with you to a point because you are right, Jesus is not God! But the John in Revelation is not in any way associated with Jesus Christ, Son of God. John is a common name and people assume this person is an Apostle of Jesus and weave stories to support that, when this John does not support Jesus. This John supports the Antichrist that calls himself Jesus Christ, son/prince of men. The outer court means the military.
Only a man can create male gender. Females are incapable of it because they lack the male DNA required to create a son. God created NEW male DNA for His son Jesus never before in the body of any human male so it was a virgin birth. It is impossible for Jesus to be a son= male=prince of kings. Jesus is not a son of David and taught that. Only the liar Paul claims Christ is the son of David because that is the Jewish Christ, son of man and Paul claims to be the Hebrew of all Hebrews. Paul refused to change his Jewish beliefs and just gave his concept of Christ the name of Jesus. Paul believes in the son of David as the Christ. The Christ is not a son of David. No king has his male DNA in Jesus to make him a male=son. The name Jesus Christ is stolen from Jesus by the Antichrist that reveals himself in Revelation. Jesus even warns this prince with nothing in him is coming and people will come in his NAME.

Of course, common sense IS NOT the only thing you need to understand God, you also need FAITH. However, likewise, FAITH is NOT the only thing you need to understand or know God, you also need common sense and that’s why God gave us the faculty of intelligence so that you can use your common sense to understand Him through His Words and through His messengers. If you just have FAITH without common sense/faculty of intelligence, then what you have is just BLIND FAITH. If you just have common sense but no FAITH, then how can you be a TRUE believer??

As for God sending His Spirit as in Psalm 104:30, when we say God sent His Spirit, it DOES NOT MEAN God is sending Himself. Spirit of God IS the divine energy of God’s very nature and the expression of Himself. Thus we can say God’s Spirit IS the extension of God’s presence and can be in anyone whoever God wants to.…BUT that does not mean that ‘anyone’ is now God Himself just because that 'anyone' has the Spirit of God in him.

Yes, Jesus is NOT God, nor is he the Son of God..that is, if your understanding of the Son of God means Jesus was fathered by God Himself.

It does mean God is literally sending himself. As far as I'm concerned that immutable point remains starkly present.

Yes God can send his holy Spirit into anyone he wants; but that's not the debate. My point is simply that God can and does send himself. Because the holy Spirit is certainly God. As Jesus points out in John 4:24 God is a Spirit.

So the idea that since Jesus is "sent" therefore he is not God; can't be a good point. It's disproven. God can send out his own holy Spirit and God can send out his own Word like in Isaiah 55:11. The Word proceeds forth out of God's mouth. Just exactly as Jesus describes himself, saying "I proceeded forth and came from God, neither came I of myself, but he sent me." (see John 8:42)

So the more you study the scriptures the more you see that Jesus literally comes forth from the Father as God sends his Spirit and his Word directly from his mouth. This is how Jesus came into the world.

So in John 1:14, we see the Word was literally "made flesh" and dwelt among us.

A theist human described God in the heavens as the gas flow movement that protected life as O G spiral O DD to OO flow between space void gases burning gases cooled and water.

Not Jesus.

The protection of life in heavens a cooling motion. So creator creating was how the heavens was cooling as a science of man teaching. Held body.

The origin pyramid was crystal Sus nose point capped.

Earth owned crystalline mass transmitters on the ground not a gas spirit. Gods body.

The theme how Jesus life sacrifice occurred. The physical biology of returned holy baby man in human genesis to life sacrificed again was ∆ nose point pyramid causes.

Change to ground fused Fu Sion. Sion mass. Sin holes opened as gas spirit left brought back to life from dead cold stone tomb into newly burning light gases.

Not gods. God owned Christ spirit in its heavens.

Holy water cooled the spirit gas release with oxygenated life water. Where it returned into the heavens.

Was a human summation why gods earths and gods heavens caused life's sacrifice by man's sciences.

Jesus was not gods taught science. Gods only heavenly inheritor was held CHrist body.

The Jesus caused event was criminal science taught men. Life isn't meant to be harmed as God kept life safe equally.

God is not an animal so if you mean a physical union with Mary, no, that never happened as she had a virgin birth.
Today using science, many females of different species give birth from an egg fertilized in Vitro. Today scientists manipulate DNA on an amazing scale.

Ever heard of a Blue Strawberry? It is produced by mixing plant DNA from a strawberry with a Nordic specie of fish DNA and the result is a tasty blue strawberry that does not turn to mush after thawing from being frozen. Part plant, part fish but wait, did you know that one of the strongest products on the planet has been created by mixing spider DNA with goat DNA? The resulting milk from the female goats born from that in Vitro union, is processed into threads and bullet proof vests are made out of it. Of course there is also the genetically modified by humans, "glow in the dark" beagles.
Jesus has no male human "father". His DNA was modified by God (God is not human) that created him and it is superior to other human DNA. Jesus is human but a genetically modified human, a "new and improved" human capable of amazing miracles making him the Son of God, a creation by God not man.

Nope, it DOES NOT mean God literally send Himself down to earth.

Common sense should tell you that Jesus was making a very clear distinction between himself and God whenever he said he was sent by God and that is, he was sent by a Supreme Being, God, and therefore he cannot be God too as the one who sends cannot be the one being sent. Basic common sense! So the idea that Jesus can be God because he was sent by God is preposterous, to say the least.

As for Jesus come from God and therefore he is God, don’t you know we all came from God and to Him, we shall all return because everything in heavens and earth belongs to Him ?? Are we all Gods too because God breathe His Spirit into man and gave man life ??
- Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7)

Jesus’ DNA is like any other man and he’s as human as any other man and that’s why Jesus, more often than not, refers to himself as the son of man. His miraculous virgin birth does NOT make Jesus' DNA different from any other man. Jesus is special because God had chosen him to be a Sign of His Greatness.

Jesus, on his own, can do nothing as Jesus himself admitted -
By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me” – John 5:30.

So, all the amazing miracles Jesus did that we heard and read about was not because Jesus’ DNA was modified and he was given super-powers but those amazing miracles was performed by God through Jesus – “Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.” – Acts 2:22

God is God. Lord God is the man made God that Abraham dreamed in his imagination and used to tell his people they are the only selected by that God on Earth.
Both are presented in Genesis. In the beginning Lord God did not create anything. Creation is finished before Lord God is introduced starting in Genesis 2:4. Lord God in a day created everything already created because it took one day for Abraham to invent his lie of Lord God to use to exalt himself as chosen.

Common sense would tell us to listen to logic and reason. Logic and reason based on scriptural evidence; tells us that the idea God does not or cannot send himself is refuted. I'm sorry but that's the fact.

We did, through Adam come from God; but none of us are said to be the very Word made flesh. (John 1:14)

Let's look at John 8:23
"And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world."

The idea that Jesus is just the same as us and that he is not claiming to be from above is refuted. He claims over and over to be from above. It's just that we humans have a hard time truly listening. We'd rather interpret or downgrade the things he said to something more believable or understandable. But Jesus meant it all exactly.

Right, Jesus is not of THIS world. He left in a physical human body and resides on another planet, world that Jesus is preparing for his followers because WW3 makes this planet uninhabitable, unable to support life.. What is above this planet are other planets capable of supporting our biological needs and our Loving God knows what humans need to exist.

Genesis is one of the most spiritual books of the Bible. It's up there with the book of Revelation. It's really the foundational book of the Bible. You can't understand anything else without a good grasp of the book of Genesis.

I'm disappointed you would contradict the book of Genesis in favor of some kind of man made evolution fairy tale.
