UKRAINE ... What would we be doing if this was our country?

The whole of Ukraine is behind Zelenski. Yes?
So you believe in megabullies threats?
Nice.
Understanding the situation is not believing in anything, nor condoning any of it. A US backed NATO moving into Ukraine with nukes aimed at Russia would not have been tolerated by any Russian leader, and rightfully so. Either Ukraine was to remain neutral or it would become a battle ground, this was predicted and was warned of repeatedly and to no avail. Now the US, thanks to their man Zelensky, got what they wanted, they can now sanction Russia, which in itself is a war crime, and try to weaken Russia at the expense of the people of Ukraine.

Most Americans fail to realize that Zelensky’s rejection of Minsk was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Russian officials had worked for 8 years on Minsk hammering out terms that would be agreeable to all parties. Then—at the eleventh hour—Zelensky put the kibosh on the deal with a wave of the hand. Why? Who told Zelensky to scrap the agreement? Washington?

Of course.

Oh....right...... so if you withdraw from a deal then it's ok to invade your country, kill anybody including women, children, the elderly..... smash up their homes, hospitals, and more until they are crushed....is that about right?

Look, we've even got i****s praising Putin for offering routes for refugees in to Russia!!
Let me explain to anybody who thinks this offer was humane.....once Putin has got thousands and thousands of Mothers, children, the elderly in to compounds they can all be interrogated for the names of their husbands, sons etc, and then the message can go out 'We have your families! Join them now and they will not be charged with helping to kill Russian soldiers!' etc etc....

It's a shame somebody can't lend Ukraine a squadron of A10 Warthogs, those Russian armoured columns make tempting targets.
