2nd Peter 3:8
But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.
You are right on..., but we don't know how accurate our current calendar is, so we don't know for sure how far away or into the 7th mellenium we are.... If our calendars are accurate we are overdue for Christ's return..., which I think he has delayed in returning on purpose so all that will repent and come unto him will do so and be ready as a result of being given a little extra time, prior to his coming/return...Navigator said:Adam 4k B.C.
Moses 2k B.C.
Jesus 1 A.D.
now 2007
Have we actually left the sixth millinium and entered the seventh?
I believe there is strong evidence to that idea, the Bible uses numbers symbolically as well as reference. Seven days of creation, and the seventh being the fullfillment/completion. Isreal was scattered across the world for 1900+- years and miraculously reformed their country and has thrived, and many others.
So my guess is  .

The man, if he lived at all, is dead. Long dead. Death does not have a revolving door.
comprehend said:What are you guys talking about? They just presumably dug up his body. With the way human cloning has been progressing, science should be able to clone Jesus and there you have it. He's back.
Would anybody worship a cloned Jesus?
What if he could do miracles?

St. Paul was convinced Christ would return during his lifetime, and of anyone he'd be the one to know. So, either Christ returned sometime in the 1st Century or he never will.
JamesThePersian said:The ossuary in question (and according to at least one archaeologist it says Harun not Jesus) is empty and was found in the '80s, not recently. And why would anyone worship a cloned Jesus. It would be no more Him than an identical twin is its brother. Less, unless you somehow think that the Incarnation would leave some indelible trace on human DNA.

comprehend said:Of course not. I believe Jesus will return the same way he left as we are told in the book of Acts. I certianly do not believe in reincarnation. I was mocking the report that his ossuary was found.
