Path to Peace...

LOL.

Good luck. Orthodox Jews look at gentiles as Cattle with no souls. Muslims look at everyone who does not believe as an infidel who should be murdered "By fire or Sword" ...Quote from Muhammed (spelling), himself. Let s not kid ourselves.

Only Christ taught kindess and mercy and that we are all one. Yes we should all work towards peace. But there will be no peace.

Not till Jesus comes back to change this world.

No. Cattle are clean. It is true however that some Orthodox Jews look upon rabid, vitriolic, antisemites as essentially despicable animals with no soul, but, then again, so do I.

Jesus was not a christian. He did not worship himself. He worshipped God. If we are trying to be like Jesus, then we should also worship God, not Jesus.
Jesus was God as man. There is only one God although we see him in 3 forms (the trinity).

Sorry, do some research. Buddhists, Taoists, Jains, Sikhs, Falun Dafa, Shintoists, Confucianists, Even Wicca, Shamanism, Romani Drom, etc... they all teach kindness and mercy. Also peace, and more importantly respect and tolerance.

I'd like to know how many Orthodox jews you've encountered who have said that, and how many times you've been to an Orthodox shul? Is that what your Rabbi taught you?

Ah the fallicy of the "No True Scotsman". Nobody, Chuck, nobody is a true Christian. They are either Christian or not Christian and, believe it or not, you can't tell the difference between true and untrue Christians

Bob

I would disagree. You are either a Christian or you are not. I can say I'm pregnant, but it doesn't mean I am. You can say you're Christian....it doesn't mean you are. Look at someone's life and that will tell you whether they're Christian. And yes...you can tell the difference between someone blowing up abortion clinics and those who try to give a support system to pregnant women so they'll have the child and put it up for adoption instead.

You are making some great generalizations there. So that is apparently how Christians think of other religions?? It also sounds like your judgement is greatly influenced by western media. If you actually know Muslims, you will see they do not think all kaffirs should be murdered, and I have never seen a quote by Muhammad saying people should be murdered.

You say there will be peace when Jesus comes back. The prophecies I have seen say he will come back with a different mission. He will eliminate the evil ones basically.

Have you ever wondered why no prophet of God has taught the trinity EVER. Is it because it is not true perhaps? The trinity idea was brought about by Paul the liar. Jesus never says "I am God" or "worship me" because he is not God. He prayed like all people should, and he prayed to GOD, not to himself or the holy ghost. I also read in Matthew 26:39 that Jesus fell on his face to pray. I was just wondering how many people have their face in the ground like Jesus did when they pray.

Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [christians)matthew 7;20)
Either YOU people make the tree fine and its fruit fine or make the tree rotten and its fruit rotten; for by its fruit the tree is known(matthew 12;33)so believe it or not you can tell the difference

Are we reading the same Bible?
Yes, we are reading the same bible. Would you say that for a people to have peace they would first have to rid themselves of the trouble makers? But what if the people really loved
the trouble makers and first they did everything in their power, to keep from having to destroy them. But for those who refused to listen and for the sake of the community at some point their trouble making would have to be punished. This I believe is the way God works ( justice) Do you think to destroy evil is wrong? Let us say for instance that the whole world (people) are evil and although God has called all men everywhere to repentance, the majority refuses to listen. would it then be wrong for god to destroy them or to have them to destroy one another? It takes a change in mens hearts for true peace and reconciliation with god. But jesus himself said: Men loved darkness rather than light.

Oh certainly not I and not you nor Chuck. For isn't the "tree", as you term it, known only to God? I don't believe that you or any other Christian can see and know as God does and to claim the mind of God is indeed not Christian.

One way to peace is to accept your limitations.l
