I can play My Sweet Lord on my guitar. <3

Well la-dee-****ing-da for you! :D

We have to talk. That song has been kicking my butt since 2008. I can’t make the E and C#m chord changes. I think I use a D7 for that quick F#dim. The F#m and B changes are hard for me. I can’t make barre chords. :( B, Bb and their respective minors, Cm and C#m, Eb and Ebm, Fm and F#m, Gm and G#m should be made illegal. :D

On a positive note (see wut I did there) I’m going to get it one day. There is an easy version that uses Am D G chord progression. Being in a different key it does sound different. But it’s certainly recognizable.

George was invited to join The Quarrymen (John's original band; later became The Beatles) in 1957. He was 14 years old.

There was an amazing concert honoring George Harrison after he passed, at the Royal Albert Hall, with his many very creative friends. It's several hours long and I have DVD of it around here somewhere. Here are a couple tunes from it that I could find on Youtube.

"Give Me Love"

"Something"

"Isn't It A Pity"

Yeah, The Concert for George. I have the cd and dvd. His son Dhani played rhythm guitar. Paul said Olivia, George’s wife said that with Dhani on stage it looked like they all got old and George stayed young. Made them all laugh.

I saw this quote from George on Facebook and I thought it would be nice to share it in my memorial thread for him.
