Try this out for size. I do not believe in monotheism. Does that make you a monotheist nonreligious?Again only speaking from how I understand it, @Conscious thoughts do not believe in self.(ego) it is not the real consciousness
I don't know about mince pies but Eostre buns are ok. And we all have to eat.
I see "my self" as spiritual not religiousTry this out for size. I do not believe in monotheism. Does that make you a monotheist nonreligious?

Yes that is trueThat is your belief.
From Left-Hand Path and Right-Hand Path - Academic KidsI see "my self" as spiritual not religious
The Estrogon Bunny? She’s the one that lays eggs, right?
I believe consciousness is (as they say) an 'emergent property' of the brain. It lasts till the person is alive and not beyond it.Some people would call spirit as soul or the main energy that is our consciousness.
I'd put it this way.Atheism, Satanism, Luciferianism, and so on is only about the physical world (Not religions)
Whereas Spiritual paths/Religions are mostly/always about the spiritual realm (what comes after then physical)
Is this a wrong view/understanding in your mind?
Uncomfortable? About an imaginary idea? Not at all. The imaginary idea is the root cause of much conflict and bloodshed in the world since religions came up. Atheist dismiss it for want of verifiable evidence. Why do you feel uncomfortable about there could be something "bigger" than humans? is it because you can not see it?
Now to address your question. I just didn't like the wording. If you disagree with everything I said earlier that is fine. I just was trying to explain my view not debate. Something for you to mull over. Seeing as luciferianism and Satanism both a lot of the time include magick it sometimes is about the spiritual realm. Or at least includes it. Atheists usually don't believe in a spiritual realm altho I have heard of secular witches and atheists who believe in ghosts. Overwhelmingly tho atheists are about the material realm and do not believe in a spiritual realm.. As a person of a left handed path tho the spiritual realm is the here and now. It is the material world. Also many pagans including myself believe the spiritual is also in the here and now altho many may also have a belief in an afterlife or a realm outside of the material realm.Atheism, Satanism, Luciferianism, and so on is only about the physical world (Not religions)

Atheism is a position. It opposes superstition of all types. Apart from religious swords and carrots, Atheists also are unlikely to believe in prophecies, astrology, palmistry, tarot, meaning of dreams, Homeopathy, etc. Refutation of falsehood is a good thing. So it defines itself purely in the negative? It has nothing to offer, besides refutation?
I'll add there's a difference in my book between not believing in a spiritual realm and believing the material realm is the spiritual realm or the material is included in the spiritual realm.Overwhelmingly tho atheists are about the material realm and do not believe in a spiritual realm.. Well, in India we have many festivals unrelated to religion, Rakshabandhan, Bhai Dooj (festivals of brothers and sisters), Karwa Chauth (festival of married and soon to be married), etc. You too have Father's day and Mother's day. Then there are national festivals of Independence, commorative days of national figures, etc. We have season-related festivals like Basant, Lohri, Baisakhi, Teeyan, etc.So no annual holidays? No festivals, no decorations, not even carol services?

So how do you think a bunny became a symbol of easter?
Most christian holidays are rehashed pagan holidays. A case of joinnour club and you can keep your annual vacation from working the land
Today is Karwa Chauth, the festival of married and soon to be married people. Whole day without food or water for women (some LGBTQ also observe Karwa Chauth - for welfare of the partner ) with feasts after sunset. Yes, we will be celebrating Diwali, sans crackers, banned because they pollute the atmosphere. No big shopping in the markets due to Covid rules, golden period for mail-order firms. Not much interaction with relatives except by phones. Hope things get better soon, although the situation is not frightening except in Kerala.I think I like the religious ones best. Will you be celebrating Deewali soon?
There are lots of Indians living in my part of North London, so sweets will be distributed generously to all and sundry. And there will be fireworks.
You can be an atheist and believe in energies, spirits or other things. You know people that believe in energies from stones, astrology or numerology, just not believing that a God or intelligent creator is behind it.Atheism, Satanism, Luciferianism, and so on is only about the physical world (Not religions)
