Dennis Prager Has Covid

Says he got it intentionally by hugging people. Wondering how many people he infected before he was symptomatic?

He has also been taking a cocktail of drugs including those not fully approved by the FDA, like monoclonal antibodies. He was also taking ivermectin, azithromycin, and hydroxychloroquine prophylactically.

My guess is that if he recovers, he will credit ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine . Long Covid is a possibility, depending on how severe the infection. Wonder what he would say if he has weeks or months of long Covid symptoms like shortness of breath, fatigue, loss of taste or smell?

Will we ever know how much viral load he had at testing or which drug actually did the work?

The FDA has approved the use of several monoclonal antibodies.

FDA authorizes bamlanivimab and etesevimab for COVID-19

If I use the same criteria right wingers were using to dismiss the vaccines early on, these treatments "only have Emergency Use Authorization. They have not been fully approved. And we don't know the long term effects."

You pretty much did act the same way.

You pointed out (like it was a bad thing) that they were using "drugs including those not fully approved by the FDA, like monoclonal antibodies."

If thats how you feel, did you feel the same way about the vaccine's when they weren't fully approved by the FDA?

You would think that those on the far right would realize after a while that those advocating vaccines, social distancing, and mask are not doing so for political reasons. The opposition to such actions do appear to be either political or due to a severe case of the crazies. Praeger has a bit of both.

No, I am OK with all that. Just looking to see who suddenly thinks experimental, not fully approved, drugs are OK even though we don't know the long term effects. There seems to be this mentality among the rightists of 'Anything but vaccine.'

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

Look at it this way. If he survives, he will have one of the best immune systems around.

I had never heard of Dennis Prager until I saw this thread. I don't keep up with or care much for many radio talkers.

Just big kids scared to death of needles.
That is my housemate. She has a huge phobia of needles. She had it and recovered earlier this year after I had urged her countless times to get the jab. She finally did it this week because she wants to limit as much as possible going through that again.

Looks like he is better now and tested negative ...

That is good. Even a waste of humanity like Prager should not die from the virus.

It would be nice if he learned something from this, but I have severe doubts that he did.
Why is it that even when you say something nice you have to include something derogatory?

I’ve watched his videos on youtube occasionally, even if I disagree with them. So I am Sorry to see this, even if it is predictable if you go round hugging people. Hope he (and anyone he may have infected) makes a full recovery.

Okay, I get it. Just like he says in the video... leftists are haters.

First time I’ve watched or listened to him. Interesting.
No, you don't get it. Prager is a hater. He complains when he gets the same treatment back. That makes him a hypocrite. The man is unfortunately not only a hater, but he is a fool as well.

Well, we’ll see. I don’t think I’ll take your word about his character assessment when I’ve noticed how often you label anyone you disagree with or don’t like as a “ loon, fool, or other such names.
