Do you think crystal balls work?:)I think they might.But I am not sure.I like the idea that they do.Because it sounds cool.Like something out of a horror movie.But not something I would really want to do.:)

I don't know! I've never used one for divination, but I find them beautiful either way. I have one, just because I enjoy looking at it.

Yes, I think they can be quite successful in separating people from their money.

Maybe in the same way other forms of divination work: providing a frame for introspection and possibly inspiration.

I find the Tarot useful in helping me with decisions I am struggling with because it helps me reframe my options and consider new perspectives.

It allows your subconscious mind to create images for you. Focusing helps to take your conscious self off line.
I kind of do this with my eyes closed just focus on the darkness to see what images my subconscious mind creates. A way to let go of consciousness so I can sleep.

You can do the same with a crystal ball, except the sleeping part since you got to keep your eyes open.

Some feel this opens a psychic connection but I think it is just your subconscious mind at work. I don't know maybe it's a way to see what your subconscious has to offer. I just wouldn't plan on starting a fortune telling gig. :D .

Do I think crystal balls work? Not for a moment -- they couldn't produce the genetic material that makes balls so essential to our existence.

I admit, at least half of the times I see the OP, I think "Crystal balls? Well, wouldn't that be uncomfortable..." And then realize whoops! Not the intended meaning...
