I still am highly dubious. Certain injuries heal over time. From my understanding the concept appears to fail peer review.
It is wise to have reasonable priorities.I tried it about 40 years ago for sinus problems and it seemed to help but I gave it up because the cost was interfering with my ability to purchase alcohol and pot which I deemed more important than breathing.

I am not getting that from the paper that you linked. More important were statements such as this:She was getting acupuncture for arthritis. Based on Bonferroni adjusted F-tests (with p < 0.05), evidence of differences was identified for several CMI comparisons. Specifically, client specific outcome measure (CSOM) data showed evidence of a difference between baseline and treatment as well as between treatment and placebo (Table 1). There was also a significant difference observed between baseline and treatment for CBPI PSS and CBPI PIS data; however, significant differences were not observed for the comparison between treatment and placebo. For the latter, a statistically significant difference was also observed during the placebo phase and the differences observed here were confirmed with the Bonferroni adjusted F-test.

I know this one. Steve McQueen's character mentions him in "The Magnificent Seven". The guy says, "It seemed like a good idea at the time." Or something like that.

I have had some experience with them too. There are tiny thorns on some that are hard to see and even harder to remove.I remember I got one of those things on me once. They're hard to get rid of once they stick to you.
