What Drags You to Hell?

Why did you say that the backward translation from English to Arabic of Righteousness is Bir, not Taqwa?

Taqwa is about fear, caution, it's equivalent to righteousness only that if you have Taqwa you are righteous. So it's righteousness, but that would be a bad translation, because it's descriptive of what goodness and righteousness means in term of guarding against God's wrath and fearing him.

It's a description of righteousness (among many), so it's not a good direct translation.

So why is Bir the correct translation?

Hell (“Sheol” and “Hades” in the Bible’s original languages) is simply the grave, not a place of fiery torment.

Who go to hell? Both good people and bad people. (Job 14:13; Psalms 9:17) The Bible says that this common grave of mankind is “the house of meeting for everyone living.” (Job 30:23)

Even Jesus went to hell when he died. However, “he was not kept in hell,” because Jehovah God resurrected him. (Acts 2:31-32)

All those who go to hell will come back out, brought to life by Jesus through Jehovah God’s power. (John 5:28-29; Acts 24:15) Speaking of that future resurrection, the prophecy at Revelation 20:13 says that “death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them.” (King James Version) Once hell has been emptied, it will no longer exist; no one will ever go there again because “death will be no more.”(Revelation 21:3-4) (Revelation 20:14)

Not everyone who dies goes to hell, though. The Bible shows that some people become so steeped in wickedness that they are beyond repentance. (Hebrews 10:26-27) When such ones die, they go, not to hell, but to Gehenna, which is a symbol of everlasting destruction. (Matthew 5:29-30)

For example, Jesus indicated that some of the hypocritical religious leaders in his day would go to Gehenna. (Matthew 23:27-33)

It takes a whole another level of playfulness, jest, and dishonesty to do that with Quran. Sorry.

So you think anyone who interprets the Quran differently to you are simply dishonest? And that is enough to shun everything they say? Well, the Sunni's declare that you are absolutely being dishonest by interpreting simple sentences to mean names, like Allul Hakeem. Some others declare you dishonest because you interpret the Quran to mean Mahdi which word is not found in it.

Some would even declare you dishonest because you made some facade claims like Bir or as you said "Ber" is the correct translation for Righteousness which is an English word, while there is no "e" sound in the whole of the Arabic language, and just because some people translate Al Bir as Righteousness, you go backward and say that is the right translation and not Taqwa, that shows you dont know the language from Adam, but are pretending to do so. That is dishonesty.

So I think calling people dishonest just because you dont agree with them is dishonest.

I would recommend Link that you actually study the language of Arabic before you make such facade claims, and read up.

Have a great day.

Please explain to me @Link

You said Ber is the correct translation to the English word Righteousness right, not Taqwa?

1. Why do people call some men "baarun"?
2. What is the meaning of Taqiya?

I know you avoided questions asked point by point. Try to honestly answer.

Do you think there is any escape from Gehenna?

Sure, man trying to change what he cannot.
Or even changing what he can, only to have it blow up in his face because it never needed changing to begin with. :)

Creation is not the problem, we are. Or more precisely, our presuming ourselves to be the reason that everything else exists.

"What Drags You to Hell?"
In my religion, only evil deeds - causing pain to others. What religion one follows or worship of deities or absence of it does not matter.
"Paropakāram Punyāya, Pāpāya Parapīdanam" (Helping others is merit, causing pain to others is sin). As simple as that.

I think it unrighteousness/sin that drags one to hell.

But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.
James 1:14-15
