Norway mosque shooting an 'attempted act of terror', police say

Banning the possession of weapons by civilians will not reduce the number of violence or killings. On the contrary, it will increase, because more and more robbers are afraid to climb into someone's house, realizing that most likely its owner has a weapon. Here you can also read Stun Gun Laws by State: The Legal Guide for 2021 | Lawrina, that in almost all US states the carrying of weapons is permitted by law. This, in my opinion, is by no means a disadvantage, and it is worth understanding for pacifists who oppose weapons.

Tell that to Australia.

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
‘Norwegian police said Sunday that a shooting at a mosque near Oslo is being treated as an "attempted act of terror" and that the suspected gunman harbours far-right, anti-immigrant views.

The suspect entered the mosque in the affluent Oslo suburb of Baerum on Saturday armed with multiple weapons and opened fire before being overpowered by a 65-year-old man who suffered minor injuries.

Hours after the attack, the body of a young woman was found in a home in Baerum and police on Sunday confirmed that it was the suspect's 17-year-old stepsister. Investigators launched a murder investigation into the death.’

You can't eliminate guns without raising murder rates.

We don't care we're Australians.

FYI, it's easier to get a firearms licence here than a car licence. The whole "Australia banned guns" thing is a myth. I own 5, perfectly legally, for example. For some weird reason there is a core of Seppos who love mischaracterising minor and fringe Australian legal matters as somehow meaning we're a Stalinist nightmare.

And also we have giant rats with pockets. Don't toy with us, we don't care.

And drop bears:eek:. Just think what a bomber loaded with those could do!

EDIT: I just read about Australian rules on firearm ownership. You best keep your membership at RF on the down low. You don't want to lose that license due to a history of mental illness. No such law here. America rules again!
