Many voted along party lines. They voted for Republicans. Our voting ballots actually tell us which names are Democrat or Republican. I can walk into a voting booth not knowing any of the names on the ballot but know which party I'm voting for. In that moment I have no internet, no easy way to look up information. All I have are names and parties; and so I must either do research ahead or rely upon the information on the ballot which is party.
Many are but not 74 million. I think (though cannot cite numbers) that the number of supporters who believe in him are many fewer -- probably less than 1/4 that number. Its still a lot but even among them I think many would know he was mental.Some might be.

...and you perhaps are not convinced that either party cares about your issues or that the fate and soul of the country is at stake as they endlessly scream every four years... Every four years both parties cry wolf. They always do. The media frenzy here has gotten increasingly worse every four years, too. Both parties and their media partners hide the problems of their own candidates while pointing out or manufacturing faults in the opposition. Its like a nasty baseball argument. So when voters enter a voting booth it is not always with a feeling of certainty, unless they have been reading biographies, researching, spending some time keeping up with politics.
Yes, because I believe the people decide the outcome of an election and not the group of donors, pollsters and media pundits who decide is most "electable" behind closed doors. And I don't think there was a huge number of Biden supporters who would have voted for Trump or not voted at all if it meant he won. The American People knew what was at stake and that the election was too important for that.

Why wouldn't you look up things ahead of time? One of the benefits of mail-in ballots, is that you can do all your homework ahead of time.
Where I live school board members are not listed by party. I call or email each candidate and ask their stand on the teaching of evolution.
For all candidates where party is specified, I vote strictly along party lines.
I don't have to know the details of Sally Smith's views vs Tim Wilson's views. Which party they have affiliated themselves with tells me everything I need to know.

The fact is that no Trump supporter has come forward and stated that they believe that Trump is mentally deranged. That has nothing to do with mean or nice. It is a fact.
That's true. The supporters either don't admit it or don't know it. Trump isn't representative of Americans, even the scummy Americans. He's really off in the head.

I didn't take it that way, Ronald Klain is Biden's chief of staff, so why would he want to give the impression that what Biden is doing is wrong? I'm with Biden all the way on this, he needs to act as fast as he can to offset Trump's choices (Federalist Society and just plain inept) and it appears that's exactly what Biden's doing. Next, expand the SC.

I don't care for the Paris accord. It's just a bureaucratic feel good love fest.
Also I plan to get vaccinated (FDA approved) to prove my beef isn't over the vaccine itself.
CNN is just a propaganda outlet at this point. It's lost whatever credibility it might have had at one point. So I don't tend to get worked up by their sensationalism.

I'm dismissing it as a tabloid hit piece promoting a book by WaPo reporters (Jeff Bezo's rag). Anyway, I'm still waiting for Bush, Jr. to be brought to justice for stealing the 2000 election. Oh, wait. I guess that was memory holed. It's Trump that's literally Hitler these days, not Bush and Bush is a good man now.
