I wanted to know more about Buddhism, but sometimes about 5 words is my attention span. So, explain Buddhism in 5 words. What could go wrong?

My offering would be:

Compassion will make you happier.

Seriously, though - f you really want to learn more about Buddhism there is a load on the web - hard to know where to start.

Just off the top of my head try Pema Chodron's site. She is a Buddhist nun and has written some popular books. You can get a bunch of her stuff at this site - the pdf file alone is worth a look and it is perfectly free. Pema writes a lot about the need to be kind to yourself so that you can then be kinder towards friends & enemies & strangers.
