Glorifying a nationalist zealot who has stoked the flames of division and discrimination in his country is a poor way to celebrate this achievement:

Dismissing all of that offhand merely underlines ideological bias, as far as I can see.
Congratulations to India, its people, and its healthcare workers on this milestone. I wish them all good health and a return to normalcy in the coming months. I also hope that Modi reconsiders his supremacist and unnecessarily divisive politics.

Back to the topic at hand. Congratulations on the 20 million. At first I was a bit surprised that it would take you until June to get fully vaxxed, but then I remembered that India is a very very very populous country.
In my opinion, that such a populous country has been working so hard to vaccinate the majority of its population despite the immense difficulties it has faced should really give pause to states and countries that are much smaller and possibly wealthier but are still lagging behind in vaccination and refusing to follow medical advice.

Sure, during the 55 years of four generation Nehru-Gandhi dynasty rule, history was written according to their ways. All institutions and infrastructure named after the family. That needed a correction and we are doing that.

The result followed and gave a resounding victory to Modi's party for a second term with a clear majority. 21 seats more than the last election, 303 out of 542 seats, 56%.

Not only that, we have 500,000 villages where 500 million Indians live. Some of the hamlets are deep in deserts, mountains and forests, where roads have not reached. We are averaging 8 million each day. As per reports 810 million people in India have been vaccinated (that leaves 590 million people to vax, including those below 12 for whom there is no vaccine till now).

Yeah, except for my wife who has just one vax, she had suffered mild Covid earlier, and my younger grandson who is 9, no vax for him till now.

Having Covid and survived seems to give stronger immunity than the vaccines. Add in one dose of vaccine and she is very well protected. Of course as most people know, naturally acquired immunity is very expensive since many do not survive. Human life is expensive. The vaccines are not and still do the job. I know you are not anti vaccine. This message is for those that are.
