Do you prefer light or darkness?

Do you like being under the sun?

During daytime, do you like sunlight creeping into your room through the windows?

In the night, do you prefer to stay in a fully illuminated room with bright lights?

In my case, i prefer staying indoors as long as the sun is up. Then when the night falls, me and my shadow wanders the empty streets. (No i'm not a vampire lol). I just find comfort in darkness.

What about you? :)

I don't mind any time of day. Sun is good but can get a bit toasty where i live making life uncomfortable in high summer, those days the night is queen. Walking the forests day or night gives a totally different feel, different sounds, a night time eeriness replaces the daytime splendor.

Without light, you have no shadow, so technically, you're not really in darkness.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say you prefer night, not darkness?

Same here. The summer sun is just too much for some people to bear. Besides, according to many articles on the web, those who are exposed to the sun more often, they age more rapidly. Don't remember all of it, but it has something to do with the sun's ultraviolet rays probably.

I used to be afraid of the dark but pushed past the fear. I prefer sleeping in the dark. I still as an adult am sometimes afraid of the dark, and if its dark I tend to panic when trying to move around. I tend to freeze and to imagine dark ominous figures, spiders and other scary things; but dark gives better sleep.

If you are afraid of the dark try keeping a flashlight with you. I don't know if this will help, but sleeping in the dark may give better sleep. For me its enough to have a light on in the next room and a few glowing LED's around -- like clocks and power standby lights.

Can't stand the sun, if its warm or when eating outside or it it blinds you (During the summer)

At night as long as I can see and its comfortable, its fine, But don't really mind that its dark.

I have always loved the night sky. Peace, for me, comes from gazing at distant fuzzies with a telescope or binoculars.

It's hard to see the stars during the day.

I live in western Washington state. With at least six months of cloudy weather a year. And probably eight. I love the Sun even on the hottest days. We do not get enough of it here.
