AOC, you poor troubled naive' girl. Yet another blunder for the media drama queen.

I thought it looked fabulous, myself. But that is pretty funny
Aside from the dress being unattractive, it's odd that
AOC would champion someone who committed some
pretty serious tax fraud, ie, keeping payroll taxes for
herself. That **** can land one in jail. Should land one
in jail. (This assumes the article is accurate.)

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Its just so unreal and bizarre.

All those poses and photos of that wonderful "Tax the rich dress" as she proudly paraded around in it and posed for photos with her friends like a glamorous movie star in the making.

Meet the Kardashians!

What a statement! RoFLMAO!!!!

Meh all polies are crooks if you ask me. So this doesn’t surprise me. Assuming it’s true.
But I have no dog in this race

A bit more reliable than the New York Post, Forbes makes pretty much the same claims:

AOC’s ‘Tax the Rich’ dress designer Aurora James owes debt in multiple states - Forbes Talk

Worse yet it looks lime she may have kept deductions of federal taxes of employee paychecks for herself.

AOC seems scatter-brained, inexperienced, hypocritical, & preachy.
But I don't know if she's a crook.

I like the message on the dress and wish more politicians would act on it. Trying to find fault with anything AOC does seems a bit weird coming from the GOP when some Republicans spent four years complaining that the left was supposedly dramatizing and exaggerating Trump's flaws and mistakes.

Experience will come with time, and I think she has the right mindset to learn from it. Also, being "preachy" to one extent or another seems to be an inescapable requirement for being a politician.

As for hypocrisy, she seems to me far more honest and consistent than many of her colleagues in politics, both in the Democratic Party and elsewhere.

The OP suggests great hypocrisy, ie, the dress
designed by a tax cheat. And praising the tax cheat.

Hey, I still love that Trump Baby Balloon.

Cutest thing ever!

One could easily attack the dress designer. Tell me, do you investigate every business that you purchase from? Do you ask the IRS if they are prosecuting anyone? Now if AOC was an investigative reporter she may have found out how bad that this company, that puts a very pretty facade is. I doubt if she has the time for that.

Not to worry, justice will be done with this company. Too much has come out. For example, many liberals might have forgiven the tax abuses but they will not forgive the abuse of employees. She is going to lose business and very very possibly spend some time at Club Fed.

The über-conservatives always want to distract from the liberal message with nonsense. They have no credible response.

But was she (AOC) aware of this at all? How is one person's problems and tax avoidance anything to do with AOC other then she made a dress for her?
Whilst true enough. It might behoove a public figure to thoroughly vet certain workers. Just for their own benefit.

Although it is interesting that there is an all too eager outcry of the dress maker’s sins rather than to actually address the core issue. Actually taxing the rich and maybe have them pay their fair share for the good of the community overall.
I mean don’t get me wrong by all means hold the dressmaker accountable for their wrongdoing. But maybe also at the same time engage with the core issue as well
