Still younger than you, ya slack jawed, tractor touchin' steam engine snuggling geezer
Even so, aren't you rushing entry into codgerhood?
Tis a tad early to get cyborg stuff like your titanium knees,
your hearing aid, & wearing Depends (which I know you
wear only as a fashion staement).

I don't have hearing aides, my ears are about all that works right and I do not wear depends, they're just are not comfortable....

But of course, and I shake my cane at them too

Hopefully it's not a Coke cane.

I learned another acronym, thanks to @The Hammer posting this: ADF prayer of the Day | Religious Forums

I was able to gather that the acronym "ADF" was referring to this: Ár nDraíocht Féin - Wikipedia. I had never heard of that before.

Up until now, ADF to me meant "Automatic Document Feeder" on a printer/scanner, which mostly works correctly, but sometimes it can jam up. If used carelessly, it can jam up with staples or tape - or the rollers might get pretty dirty. I don't really believe in prayer, but there are times when I wish that a finicky piece of office equipment works properly.

So when I saw a thread entitled "ADF prayer of the day," I thought "Finally! Someone has a prayer for office equipment!"

Tuesday i get a coloscopie and gastroscopie, really looking forward to it... Not. Starting today an a strict low residue diet.

Hard cheese on white bread for breakfast with a weak black coffee

Clear vegetable soup and white bread croutons for lunch

And i can gorge myself on poached white fish and white rice for dinner. Without desert.

And i have Sunday and Monday to go on this regime (arggggg) before starving myself for 18 hours.

Not sure i can make it...

Wow. For my colonoscopies, it was just a day of drinking foul liquid, subsisting on jello and running to the john every so often.

"Be strong", I whispered to my coffee.

This is not my first, last time there was no preparation other then not eating from dinner time the previous day, and as you say, drinking a couple of litres of extreme laxative then spending the night on the toilet. Maybe because I'm having a gastroscopy too i have to stick to a low residue diet plus the last day of starvation and drink 2 litres if what i can only only think of as drain cleaner.

And for dinner its white rice and boiled fish... Damn im missing herbs and spices

Earlier today I was running some errands, and I was on a freeway overpass trailing behind a service truck carrying a port-a-potty. Fortunately there was another car in front of me to create a buffer between myself and the truck. That car was getting dangerously close to that port-a-potty. The truck hit a bump and I saw the port-a-potty shake (it only seemed to be secured by a single strap), and I thought it was going to fall off and hit that car.

Fortunately, that didn't happen, and we all went our separate ways.

But I realized that it's always a good idea to leave some distance between yourself and the port-a-potty.
