Thanks to all who may have congratulated me on my birthday (anniversary, the 79th). I did not know that there is a thread on my birthday, saw it just now.
Well, not much. It is just another day. Family celebrated by having a one kg cake, which traditionally my grandsons cut; and I take a wee little piece of it (because I do not like cakes). Wife prepared the traditional kashmiri dishes, 'Dum' Alu (slowly done fried potatoes with spices), lentils and rice, a fare which I do not enjoy, no non-veg permitted on a birthday. So, I have to bear it like so many other things in life.
And keep smiling, the irony of things.
